After what seemed like an eternity, 악어 suddenly woke up from his slumber, finding himself at the island lobby. He was joined with Quackity, who seemed eager to act as his tour guide for Quesadilla Island. The two of them took the train to the main island, getting to know more about each other along the way. 악어 felt nervous as the only Korean speaker, but Quackity quickly informed him that another islander Tina also spoke Korean.
Upon arriving at the station, they began finding their way to the mall to meet with the rest of the islanders. Quackity struggled with finding the exact location, causing 악어 to poke fun at his skills.
악어 briefly spoke to all of the islanders awake at the time, including Tina, Ironmouse, BadBoyHalo, Bagi, Antoine, Baghera, Tubbo, Fit, Luzu, Pac, Philza, Foolish, and Etoiles, along with their eggs.
He received various welcome gifts from the others, including a Pelican Rubber Ring from Antoine and a horse plush from Roier.
As a skilled fighter himself, 악어 made sure to note that Etoiles was another individual known for his PVP abilities. He also asked about why everyone was raising eggs, to which the others laughed, telling him "you'll see!"
Quackity then promised to give him a present, leading him over to a hanok [1] with posters explaining Seollal [2].
Walking into the hanok, the two of them were suddenly greeted by a small egg wearing a 갓 ("gat") [3] with a black strap and a blue and red beaded strap. While seemingly hesitant about adopting a son, 악어 decided to name the egg 춘식. [Note 1]
After explaining the new currency technology and stores on the island, Quackity then showed 악어 his home as inspiration for 악어's own build. They also had a quick stop at the museum, bonding over their shared lack of direction and building skills.
악어 was then set free to explore the island on his own, making his way hundreds of blocks from the Mall along with 춘식. He decided to settle down and build his house in a flower field, immediately putting his son to work.
[Translation 1]
As he and Chunsik began building the foundations of their new home, Cucurucho appeared with questions, hanging over an empty book and quill for 악어 to write his answers in.
The questions were "What was your name? What makes you truly happy? What is your most precious memory? What did you used to do in the past? How much do you like money? What do you expect for the future? How far would you go for the ones you love? How much would you pay to save them?"
The last question made 악어 suspicious, immediately questioning Cucurucho's real intentions and whether he was here to mess with the eggs. Cucurucho only laughed in response. 악어 hesitantly answered the question and returned the book, watching as the white figure broke through his walls and walked away into the night.
While he was distracted mining iron, a creeper blew him up, causing 악어 to officially lose his life for the first time on the island. He returned to his area of death to pick up his items, getting scared by 춘식 in the process. 악어 made an iron chestplate, deciding to give his Pelican Rubber Ring to 춘식 as a gift.
악어 was then reminded that he would have to complete quests in order to keep 춘식 alive.
[Translation 2]
He decided to start gathering items to craft a backpack, searching for any mobs that could drop string or leather. 악어 ran into Roier during his search, asking if the other had leather. To his delight, Roier decided to gift him a whole backpack instead. 악어 introduced his son before saying goodbye.
악어 continued walking north, eventually crossing a river and making his way to Cellbit's home. Just as he was about to cross back to return Richarlyson appeared from the waystone, showing them around the inside of his home.
As nighttime approached, 악어 and 춘식 began heading south to get back home when they were suddenly swarmed by mobs. With very low health, 악어 yelled out for 춘식 to protect him.
[Translation 3]
Fighting off the rest of the enemies, 악어 then stumbled upon a windmill, deciding to harvest all of the wheat. He then saw, to his surprise, signs claiming that the property belonged to Leonarda. Slightly flustered, he began replanting all of the wheat seeds by hand. Chayanne appeared briefly, telling 악어 a bit more about the area and how his family lived up north, to which 악어 responded that he lived in the south. [Note 6]
악어 and 춘식 decided to take Cellbit's waystone back to the hanok. Upon arrival, 악어 noticed a chicken and amusingly called it 춘식's mother which did not seem to amuse his song. Laughing to himself, he began walking on the path back back towards the Mall, questioning if his son was a chicken egg or an ostrich.
Feeling a push from behind, 악어 turned around to see a sign from 춘식 that read "용" [Note 7] He laughed in genuine shock, quickly apologizing to his son over the misunderstanding. Walking into the general store of the mall, he picked up return scrolls before running into Mike for the first time. Richarlyson gifted 악어 leather to help create a backpack for 춘식, and Mike offered to gift him an ostrich from his farm.
As 악어 went to leave the Mall, he ran into Tina and Mouse, who invited him to clear dungeons together. To their excitement, he accepted the offer before excusing himself to go pick up his ostrich. He decided to name the ostrich 루이. [Note 8]
He then followed Tina to the Town of Fobo to potentially get a horse, learning more about her and her background along the way. Upon arrival, Foolish offered to give him a high quality horse for free from his horse farm. 악어 decided to go with one of the white and black brindle horses. Watching Tina barter with Foolish for another horse for her daughter Empanada, 악어 offered to buy one for her. While she and Mouse were grateful, they politely refused, telling him not to waste his money.
Now equipped with a much more high quality method of transportation, 악어 gifted 춘식 his ostrich Louis, which the egg seemed to appreciate greatly. Now ready to travel long distances, he joined Tina, Mouse, Foolish, and Empanada in finding and clearing dungeons, while 춘식 went to sleep for the night.
The group cleared a small blimp, an illager gallery, two orc camps, an abandoned stone forest temple, and a sandstone pyramid. 악어 was hit down twice: once in the blimp by a vindicator and a second time after Foolish decided to test a blue bomb on them. However, he was brought back both times, managing not to die again.
Having gathered many useful resources and gained a lot of experience, the group decided to end their dungeoning adventures there. They all said their goodbyes, teleporting to their own respectful homes. As soon as 악어 made it home, he went to organize his loot into his chests and fell onto his bed, slowly falling asleep to the memories he made that day.악어 woke up stretching in his bed when he noticed a chest bearing his name from none other than his son. Intrigued, he opened the chest, revealing within it enchanted diamond armor and a letter from 춘식, who had recounted his adventures at Carnaval the day prior. 춘식 also asked if he could refer to 악어 as "아빠" [Note 9], which 악어 easily agreed to.
With a sense of adventure running through his body, 악어 quickly tidied his belongings before heading towards the Mall. There, he indulged in a spending spree, purchasing return scrolls, a gold backpack, and a waystone for his home. Seeing that the bounties were currently unavailable, he walked around the various stores, worried for the safety and survival of his son.
Riding on his horse and motorboat, 악어 embarked on a journey across Quesadilla Island looking for dungeons and chests available for plundering. Amidst his looting, he discovered a treasure map, leading him to a Heart of the Sea among other resources.
Further exploration led 악어 to a giant abandoned ship, amassing a giant fortune in diamonds, emeralds, and other goodies, including a Centennial trophy. He was unable to carry everything back with him, so he decided to place down his waystone and labelled it as "One Piece" [4].
Upon returning home, 악어 quickly realized that he had a lot of precious treasure that others could potentially steal. He decided to spend time researching and creating security tools for his home.
As he excitedly placed password locks on his chests, 악어 heard footsteps and torch sounds coming from outside his home. He opened the door and was met by Chayanne, bearing warm greetings in Korean. Chayanne asked him what Korean honorific he should use to refer to the older man, to which 악어 told him "no 아저씨" [Note 10] and that "형" [Note 11] was okay.
As they were exchanging resources with one another, a penguin unexpectedly entered into his home, wishing him a Happy Valentine's Day and giving him chocolates as well as an all-purpose block remover for the security items he misplaced earlier.
Seeing Chayanne's gratitude when 악어 gifted him cobwebs, 악어 jokingly suggested the egg to contact him if he wanted to change owners. Chayanne then questioned him about "baby tasks", which was mistranslated, causing 악어 to question whether the egg was getting married to 춘식. [Note 12]
In the midst of making bread, 악어 noticed that he could use avocados in order to make avocado toast. Chayanne informed him that he had avocados, inviting him over to his home. After picking up some avocado seedlings, 악어 returned home to continue housekeeping.
Noticing that he had over 500 coins again, 악어 walked over to the Mall to purchase another waystone for his home. He also visited the Museum, greatly enjoying the drawings featuring himself and 춘식.
Now equipped with empty backpacks, 악어 took the "ONE PIECE" waystone location for further adventures, retrieving the rest of the loot. While fighting off mobs, he received a message on his communicator from Luzu inviting him over for a house tour.
악어 then stumbled upon a Sea Temple, immediately deciding to enter. However, he was underprepared, meeting his demise by the beams of an Elder Guardian. Undeterred, he made a mental note of his coordinates so he could retrieve his items. He woke up at his home, quickly gathering gear and resources to make the trek back to his body.
When 악어 reached the coordinates, he set his spawn location using a bed that suddenly appeared in his possession. It was difficult having to hold his breath for long period of time, so he used wood from nearby shipwrecks to create doors. However, 악어 made the mistake of using trapdoors, which did not create air pockets underwater, causing him to lose his life another three times.
After breaking his bed while struggling, he woke up back at spawn. He was momentarily stunned, trying to hold his laugh back at the ridiculousness of the situation. He noticed a ping on his communicator from BadBoyHalo asking if he needed help. 악어 responded that it was "okay" and "not a big deal" but ended up dying two more times on his way home.
On his third time attempting to return home, 악어 ran into Bad, who greeted him warmly.
How are you? I'm fine... Are you on an adventure? [Translation 4] Oh no! [Translation 5] Do you need help? Oh... [Translation 6] Yeah!
With Bad's help, 악어 was able to return to the Sea Temple and safely retrieve all of his items. He used a return scroll to teleport back to Spawn, thanking Bad on his communicator for helping.
While at the Mall, 악어 crossed paths with Quackity who asked him how he was doing so far. 악어 recounted his last hour attempting to retrieve his body, shuttering at the memories. They went to check the bounties when suddenly 춘식 appeared, still dressed in his Carnaval attire.
Inquiring about 악어's new neighbors, Quackity asked him how he would feel about being neighbors. 악어 readily agreed, leading him on a stroll through the fields to his new home. Upon arriving, he placed down a waystone, calling it "acau house."
Amidst decorating, he got a knock on the door from Quackity who was ready to show 악어 the beginnings of his new home. He walked over, instantly stunned silent by the unfinished and mismatched state of the house.
악어 then remembered his pending egg quests to tame wolves. Before departing, Quackity gifted him a portrait drawing, placing it near the entrance of his home. 악어 and 춘식 then ventured into the wilderness. He was concerned for his son's safety for the week as he did not have much time.
They traversed through diverse landscapes, including a pink venue which he was swiftly relocated away from upon discovery. Despite a wave of sleepiness, 악어 remained resolute in completing 춘식's quests.
Upon reaching icy shores up north, the two of them decide to make their way on foot rather than motorboat. 악어 sighed in relief at the sight of evergreen trees in the distance, remembering Tubbo's suggestion on the communicator to check forests. Moments later, 춘식 returned with three tamed wolves, which they secured in cages before swiftly teleporting home.
To 악어's surprise, his return home was met with an upbeat gathering comprising of Quackity, Tubbo, Fit, Pac, Philza, and their respective eggs. Amidst warm greetings from the other islanders, Quackity revealed that he was hosting a housewarming party, inviting 악어 to view his building progress. Upon entering the house, 악어 verbally noted that nothing seemed to have changed since his last visit.
Listen 악어, this is my house! Welcome! [Translation 7] Yeah- what do you mean nothing has changed?? [Translation 8] No, it’s not the same as what you saw earlier. Look! There’s decorations on the wall now.
As he was leaving the house, Quackity informed him that his new home was one acre, but 악어 was unfamiliar with that unit of measurement.
My house is one meter. [Translation 9] I don’t want to live alone, actually! Someone can comfortably live with me! This house doesn’t mean I wanna live alone. [Translation 11] Two people can live here! [Translation 12] No- (In disbelief) What?!
As he was speaking with Quackity, 악어 noticed that the other islanders were listening in and laughing at their conversation. He was unable to hold back his own smile at their amusement, enjoying teasing the other.
Do you like my house at least? Do you think my house is nice? Oh- Oh. Oh! (Hesitantly) 맘에 들어! [Translation 13] It’s okay. You can run away, 악어. You can be honest or run away. [Translation 14]
Philza informed 악어 that he lived just north of the area by the river if he ever needed anything. 악어 recalled visiting the area with Chayanne earlier. With spirits high and schedules supposedly free, he proposed a joint expedition to clear dungeons to complete 춘식's quests for the week.
As preparations for the adventure began, 악어 completed his dog house quest and aided Tubbo with his wolf claiming quest. He spoke briefly with Fit regarding his experiences on the island so far as well as how to acquire special items.
He, Fit, and Philza, along with their eggs, all took motorboats north to a new Sea Temple, deciding to wait around for the rest of the members to arrive. As the sun began to set, Tubbo arrived with his daughter, reminding the others that he only had one life left. Seeing 악어's hesitance, Philza explained to him Tubbo's situation being Chayanne's egg. Once Pac and Richarlyson arrived, they all began jumping into the water.
Swimming into the temple first, 악어 was able to pick up the trident that was placed inside, relaying the information back to the group. Despite thorough exploration, they were unable to find the Heart of the Sea to officially clear the temple. When Philza informed him of their predicament, 악어 recalled that he had acquired one during his solo adventures earlier. Quickly teleporting home, he retrieved the item and crafted a conduit.
He returned and placed it in the structure that Philza had built, immediately mesmerized by the radiant glow that illuminated from the conduit. 악어 noted that he was now able to breathe and swim freely in the water before noticing a death message for Tubbo on his communicator. Philza and Fit both assured him that the situation was fine. However, Tubbo did not wake up from the bed they all set on top of the temple. Upon arriving to Tubbo's corpse, he saw that both Sunny and Chayanne were unwilling to leave Tubbo's body. Not quite certain of the magnitude of the situation, 악어 hesitantly bid them farewell before using his return scroll to teleport back.
Upon submitting the completed bounties at the Mall, 악어 had gained a total of nine food tickets. He excitedly entered the Egg Bakery where Fit explained to him how the cookie system worked in detail. 악어 exchanged his tickets for cookies and fed them to 춘식.
Seeing as he had completed as much as he could that day, 악어 said goodnight to 춘식, deciding he was now able to rest easy knowing his son was a little bit closer to being safe for the week.Waking up bright and early, 악어 glanced around to find the island still deep in slumber, chuckling to himself at the increasingly familiar solitude. Without delay, he turned his attention towards the bounties and quests, swiftly planning his adventures for the day before taking the Mall waypoint back home.
Upon entering his front doors, he was greeted by an unexpected chest placed directly in the heart of his home. Curious, 악어 eagerly revealed its contents, eating the chocolates left inside without a second thought. Observing the various flowers inside the chest, he then noticed a sign left by Chayanne, noting that it was a present for him and 춘식.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed 춘식 was still sleeping, having placed his 갓 [3] at the end of his bed. Eager to begin his day, 악어 ventured outdoors to chop down some trees, briefly sticking his head inside Quackity's house next door to check on its current state.
As he began crafting more chests at home, he was joined by a now awakened 춘식, who informed him that there was no need to get cookies for the day.
After making avocado toast, 악어 teleported to the Mall to view the current rankings at the Bank. Amongst the names, he noticed BadBoyHalo was at the very top of the list, remembering that name as the individual who helped him retrieve his items at the Sea Temple.
With 춘식 following right behind, 악어 visited the Egg Bakery, noticing that one of the tasks was to "sing a lullaby to the baby about death and life." Despite his initial hesitance, he began singing. [Note 13]
After receiving his reward for singing the lullaby, they decided to visit the Museum to pursue yet another bounty. 악어 grabbed one of the free book and quill from the chest, strolling around casually to view all the works of art featured for the week. After seeing all of the drawings, 악어 sat down to write a review of his thoughts and visit.
Overall, I enjoyed admiring the beauty of the drawings, as they were all done very well.
In particular, I enjoyed being able to reminisce about the memories we shared with 춘식 and Quackity, as it was well expressed through the drawings.
Also, remembering the adventures with Tina and 춘식 made me happy.
Thank you to everyone who drew such wonderful drawings!

Placing his musings among the other islanders', 악어 began restlessly pacing around while awaiting his son's return. He unexpectedly found himself in an encounter with a wild rhinoceros. Mindful of the bounty, he quickly set down a trap to ensure the creature. However, maneuvering the rhino into the cage proved arduous from the various hits 악어 took trying to capture it, with 춘식 joining in the process. He decided to begin strategically positioning three traps around the creatures, leaving them no room to escape.
Briefly teleporting home for supplies, 악어 decided to fulfill the bounty of expanding their home, chopping trees with 춘식's unexpected assistance with a chainsaw. With ample wood gathered, they constructed an expansion of the home, adding a storage chest room and a cozy lounge with chairs and a table, bathing in natural sunlight through the newly installed glass windows.
Content with their progress, 악어 decided to forego any further changes to the home, opting to resume the adventures and exploration instead. They went back through the waypoint, riding their motorboat upstream into new, unexplored territories.
While harvesting some leather on land, he noticed a nether portal next to a small house-like structure. Quickly reading the signs left nearby, 악어's curiosity led him to step into the portal to see where it would lead him.
To his disappointment, the portal only ended up teleporting him right back to spawn. Taking in the familiar surroundings silently, 악어 tiredly called out to his son, wanting to get the rhino and wheat seed bounties over with as soon as possible. He walked over to the Mall and purchased a warpstone. Just as he was about to use it to teleport, 춘식 appeared through the Spawn waystone.
Remembering the wheat he unknowingly gathered on the first day, the father and son duo headed over to the windmill once again. They harvested just enough to complete their bounty, making sure to replenish just as much as they had taken. They then ran around looking for rhinos, quickly managing to find and capture three more near the spawn area.
Having completed the bounties and quests for the day, 악어 felt the adrenaline keeping him awake slowly fade away, leaving him sleepy. He thanked 춘식 for his hard work, telling his son to rest well, before heading to sleep himself.During his usual stroll through the corridors of the Mall, 악어’s ears perked up at the sound of a distinctly familiar voice echoing nearby. He began rounded the corner when suddenly he locked eyes with 중력, a close friend of his for more than a decade now. The other was engrossed in a conversation with an bolivious Quackity, who seemed to be playing the role of a tour guide for the island once again.
Preferring to remain incognito, 악어 swiftly took cover behind the nearest wall, stealing glances at the duo in the middle of the path. He kept inching closer and closer as their dialogue unfolded, intent on simply spying and absorbing their words. However, when 중력 broached the topic of claiming ownership over 춘식, 악어's silence broke.
춘식 would be your egg. You’d have to take care of 춘식. [Translation 18] No no no! [Translation 21] 내 거 내 거. [Translation 22] We’re gonna put 춘식 on the floor, and we’re gonna make him go to whoever he prefers the most.
Quackity was curious about 악어’s sentiments towards another Korean resident on Quesadilla Island. 악어 responded that he wished for more additions in the future. Opting not to take too much of their time, 악어 lingered in the shadows, watching as the two made their way towards the bank before taking a waypoint back home.
Awakening from his slumber, 춘식 greeted 악어 outside. Eager to share the news, 악어 excitedly informed his son about 중력’s arrival, suggesting it would be nice to greet him. Just as 중력’s name came out of his mouth, he heard a variety of voices drifting closer. Glancing up, 악어 watched as the approaching group consisting of 중력, Quackity, Etoiles, Foolish, Tina, and Baghera.
Extending warm welcomes, 악어 showcased his home and the recent expansions to the visiting newcomers.
[Translation 24]
Mid-conversation with 준력, 악어 heard Baghera cooing at his son, unable to stifle the “cute” that escaped his mouth as he watched 춘식 bow respectfully. Baghera greeted him as well, engaging in pleasantries for the the first time since his arrival. Subsequently, 악어 introduced them to his own home and Quacity’s house on the side.
Finding himself amidst the growing crowd, 악어 retreated to the solace of his home to resume his construction endeavors. He watched unfazed as Foolish threw a bomb at 준, continuing to build his walls.
Shortly after, Baghera ascended the stairs and complemented his home, suggesting that he build a pool in the backyard. 악어 taught her how to say “frog” in Korean, lighting up when she managed to get the pronunciation perfect on the first try. Baghera then told him that she would be dying a lot, to which 악어 promised he would help her later.
악어 resumed his construction, eavesdropping on the other islanders’ conversations about Mexico. He only managed to get a few wood planks set down before he saw Etoiles dropping down on his house like a tornado.
Having seen his assortment of password security locked chests, Etoiles questioned if 악어 had been going to dungeons. He affirmed the suspicion, asking the man where he had gotten his unique items. The two had a brief conversation, agreeing to go clear a dungeon together with 중력 whenever they got the chance. Etoiles also showed 악어 his Nightmare Scythe, promising to teach him how to find and use dark metal to craft powerful weapons.
As the sun began to set, 악어 was greeted once again by Quackity, who asked him about his opinions on his new home next door. 악어 questioned whether it was actually a house considering the lack of a roof, sheepishly suggesting once again that their architectural abilities were very similar.
Quackity then asked if they could turn the location into his home. Not thinking much about it, 악어 agreed happily to letting Quackity live in the second floor of his home. He was much more tentative when he realized the other was trying to take over his entire home, rather than just a room.
As he began denying the other’s request, another islander began walking up the stairs to the second floor. Not recognizing him at first, 악어 was quickly reminded that this was Roier, the individual who had generously gifted him a whole backpack on the first day.
Amidst their conversations, they all received a notification about 중력 bleeding due to being blown up. While the others seemed concerned, 악어 watched the situation from a distance with a tinge of amusement, telling Quackity that the two were very close friends.
He and Quackity went over to check his supposedly finished house. However, to 악어's displeasure, it seemed like the lack of a roof was a deliberate, stylistic choice and not a reminder that work still needed to be done. They returned to 악어’s house, with Quackity asking what his plans were for the second floor.
So what are you planning to use the second floor for? [Translation 25] Oh, so you don’t have any plans for those rooms. [Translation 26] Huh… okay, okay! Well I have an idea- 안돼 안돼! [Translation 27] No! I don’t want to! I don’t want to!
악어 watched as the distraught man ran up the stairs, trying to chase after him to console him. Quackity continued running away, claiming that 악어 hated him now and that was the reason why he did not want to live together anymore. Slightly flustered by the accusations, 악어 profusely deny the claim. Not wanting to see Quackity sulking anymore, he hesitantly gave permission for the other man to live on his second floor, not without reminding him of his own perfectly fine house next door.
Still thinking about whether that agreement was beneficial at all, 악어 suddenly heard a vulgar curse being spoken in Korean. Shocked, he went over to confront the group and 중력 in particular for spreading it. Just as he was about to explain, Foolish came up to his face and parroted the curse.
The group began sharing curse words across many different languages, with some of the Western curses being much more vulgar and direct than both 악어 and 준력 were used to. It was a bonding experience being able to take part in sharing cultures, though 악어 wondered if it was right having curse words be everyone’s introduction to Korea.
악어 continued hovering around the group, not wanting to take attention away from 중력’s conversations with the other islanders. He noted how comfortable his friend was in these situations, not coming across as nervous at all despite the language barrier.
Quackity then asked if he could name 악어's dog, naming it “luis el perro,” inspired by 악어’s suggestion and also the popular artist Luis Miguel.
As the sun began setting once again, 악어 decided to notify the others that he would be going to eat on his own. He watched as a number of notifications came through his communicator bidding him farewell.Translations[]
