Antoine Daniel is a French member of the QSMP, who was announced on May 11, 2023, and joined for the first time on May 16, 2023.[2]
He is portrayed by the content creator of the same name.
Personality[]
Antoine has a rather absurd sense of humor, often mixed with quite crude irony or cynicism that pop ups at unexpected moments. He often expresses his doubts under the guise of this humour. Most of the time, he's calm and collected: he likes to analyse what's going on around him and is very intelligent in debates, never hesitating to ask incisive questions. He is very aware of the small groups that form among the island's inhabitants, the secrets that circulate and the potentially dangerous nature of certain residents.
He has gradually become rather paranoid and suspicious of the people around him, especially the non-French inhabitants, but also of Baghera, as he feels she is hiding a lot from him. His cautious nature also enables him to protect Pomme well, even though he's not a warrior. He always keeps an eye on her and brings her to safety at the slightest doubt. He's also very kind and loves to spend light, fun times with others, likes to compliment and praise his friends, and also pays attention to the other eggs.
He loves dirt, and especially loves building with it. He remembers having built a huge dirt structure in the past ("Tour de Merde", aka Shit Tower, the shit being dirt), and is building one again, a Shit Palace. He spends most of his time on this construction and jokes that this way, others won't be suspicious of him and the secret base he has built underneath where he writes down his impressions of each inhabitant, nor of the cameras he has hidden in several bases.
He enjoys asking weird questions, and is particularly interested in the other islanders' opinions on a lot of things relating to the weird phenomenons of the Islande. His inquisitiveness tends to be his main way to get information on the Island. He particularly enjoys questionning the people he doesn't trust fully to get a peek in their philosophies.
Baghera Jones when describing him to Pomme : "Antoine c'est souvent le personnage principal. Souvent, tout le monde attend de lui alors qu'il a un peu rien demandé, on va pas se mentir. Il a un très bon cœur, il est très gentil et extrêmement drôle." (Antoine is more often than not the main character. People often expect a lot from him even though he didn't ask for this, not gonna lie. He's got a very good heart, he's very kind and extremely funny.)
Physiology[]
Default[]
Antoine is a man with only red underwear (a Brezilian Tenga) to protect his naked body. He has four nipples, two pairs on each side of his body. His front face has a weird smile, while the top of his head has a neutral face and the back of his head has a sad face. He used his weird physiology a few times to surprise people, such as Quackity, by turning around to look at them with his other faces.
He has said multiple times to people he was a human, to varying degrees of success. When people commented on his three faces, he had diferent kinds of answers: "Everyone has multiple faces, I'm the only one showing them all" and "I have four actually, the last one is inside, I'd rather not show it" being two prominent themes among them.
Sad Face (Day 171-260)[]
On Day 171, Antoine's faces switched places, with the happy face, which used to be in the front, switching places with the sad face, which was in the back. This happened because of the disappearance of the Eggs which is affecting his emotions, especially the lack of Pomme as his company, making the sad face dominate his frontal face. After Antoine was reunited with Pomme after a long time on Day 260, the sad face went back and his happy face finally returned to its original place.

Very PositiveThey get along really well and enjoy teasing each other. Pierre has been providing a good amount of help for his various construction projects, such as creating the Shit Factory, gifting a symmetry wand, a backpack, and some Create knowledge to make his constructions feels a little bit more alive. In return, Antoine would help him in other field of his expertise, he has become his personal doctor to help him with his memory issues. Antoine can clock him rather easily when he felt Pierre is up to no good, such as when Pierre planned to bring a wither into the presidential debate, or when he stole lots of waystones in the island.
Very PositiveAntoine and Baghera are very close friends, but Antoine feels that Baghera grew distant from the French group as she got along with Forever and BadBoyHalo. He doesn't entirely trust her due to the secrets they keep, though he trust her enough to keep him updated on the various events on the island. Once they spare time to hang out, they can stay with each other for hours talking and doing various things.
Very PositiveAntoine and Etoiles are old friends and knew each other before arriving on the island. They have a very good relationship, one that's filled with compliments, teasing, and gifts. Antoine describes their relationship with various labels, sometimes they have a brotherly relationship, sometimes they can be best friends, sometimes Etoiles can be, or not be his boyfriend. Being friends for a long time, Etoiles knows him by heart and will use that to his advantage to tease him.
Very PositiveAntoine was the first one to call BadBoyHalo "Bébou" and made it his official nickname amongst the French. He didn't entirely trust him at first when at the start him, Baghera and Forever were keeping secrets together, but Antoine was already acknowledging his calm, skill and accuracy. He was one of the presidential candidates Antoine both considered capable of winning and whose platform he relatively agreed with. Antoine finds Bad very kind and sweet, and he likes his idea of overthrowing the presidency, even just for the fun of it. As with the other French members, Antoine would defend Bad when he's being accused of something by others.
PositiveAntoine was never expecting him to return, and even tried to convince Pomme of the harsh truth. However when Kameto did return, he is still not satisfied, thinking that he waited for Pomme to disappear before coming back.
Family[]
Family Very PositiveAntoine likes to share his cynical humor with Pomme, even though she doesn't understand everything he says. They enjoy spending time together, mostly by working together on his construction projects, no matter how tedious they get. Pomme is one of the people he wholeheartedly trust, being the first and only person who originally knows about the existence of his room under the Shit Palace. Antoine is not ao skilled at PVP so he often joke how he's the real egg and she's his protector.
Islanders[]
Very PositiveAntoine and Maximus share theories about the island, and they decided to start the "Big Cha Cha Japanese Flag project" together. Antoine fully trusts Maximus, describing him as "probablement la personne la plus safe de ce serveur" (probably the most trustworthy person on this server) despite Baghera's suspicions and warnings.
Very PositiveAntoine and Mouse have quickly became friends after she was freed from her prison, he warmed up by introducing to her various French internet cultures and some parts of the island. He and Baghera was the first to give her the name "Souris de Metal" and made it her official nickname amongst the French. Whenever they're both available at the same time, he would spare some time to hang out with her.
Very PositiveAntoine became good friends with the TazerCraft duo, Pac and Mike. They met at Tallulah's birthday party, where they exchanged jokes in French and Portuguese. Pac and Mike introduced Chume Labs to Antoine, who finds them fun and very cool, and they get along well. Antoine thinks Mike is one of the best candidates for the elections. He often mistook them as couple and have referred to Mike as Pac's boyfriend multiple times.
PositiveAntoine and Fit get along well overall. The two share a strange connection through Fit's personal sword which was duplicated in a glitch and appeared in Antoine's inventory. They think this might have been fate speaking.
Neutral/PositiveAntoine first found Cellbit somewhat suspicious when they arrived on the island. He really disliked Cellbit and Forever's attitude during election debates, going so far as suspecting the former to be the Federation's undercover candidate (ElQuackity then just being a bait). Their relation has gotten better since then, having very cordial interactions, and Antoine especially loved Cellbit's entities rooms and his idea of making each islander chose one.
NegativeThey first interacted alone at Antoine's Shit Palace, where they discussed music and remixes the made themselves. They enjoyed each other's humor and had fun for a while. After Quackity's reappearance, Quackity discovered he had no nipples, and Antoine told him he could help him. After multiple fits of intense laughter, Quackity decided it was too hard and abandoned. They then parted ways on good terms. During the QSMP Prison, Antoine stole Quackity's lunch, Quackity was very angry but Antoine denied it. They were always trying to fight each others. During the Boxing Class, they were in the same fight with Bagi, Quackity teamed up with Bagi and they beat Antoine. During the therapy session, they said they would both kill each others. On the second day of the prison, Quackity got buillied by Antoine, a lot.

PositiveAntoine for some reason started flirting with Cucurucho when he met them. He finds Cucurucho very cute and expresses it when they meet. Despite Cucurucho shooting him during the first debate, Antoine seems to have a strange, almost romantic fascination with them. He takes pictures of Cucurucho and even called them "My love" during the 3rd debate, expressing his feelings for Cucurucho several times to them and others.
Recent development have showed that they're acquintances beind the scenes, or atleast sees each other as equals as they seem to have links with The Federation since a long time ago with their works.

NeutralShortly after arriving on the island, Antoine grew distrustful of Forever when his egg protection system didn't work correctly as Pomme was attacked. He also didn't like how secretive he and some other people were acting, nor did it appreciate his and Cellbit's attitude in the election debates. It felt to him like it turned the presidency into an "Ego battle." But while he didn't agree with his platform, he learned to trust Forever more and see his good intentions. They've been getting along since then, but Antoine would still support BBH in an eventual coup.

- In a certain moment in Day 56 where Antoine was introducing himself to the participants of the server, Cellbit tells him that his skins looks like the Traveler, one of his monsters from his RPG series Ordem Paranormal.
- Antoine is the only member who changed his Minecraft username after having already entered the QSMP with another username, changing "DaMezzanine" to "AntoineDaniel_"
- His former Minecraft username is a reference to his favourite album "Mezzanine", released in 1998 by Massive Attack.
- Antoine's skin is so simple and random that it generated many different fanarts of the character, imagining him in different styles and clothes. His fanarts are even the most praised at the Art Museum, for always stirring the artists' creativity, generally making him look like a bizarre and mysterious creature, representing very well the fear of the unknown behind his multiple faces.
- Antoine's voice may end up changing depending on his emotions. For example, when he gets angry, his voice can thicken and distort drastically.
- During the Eggs' disappearance, Antoine's lack of Pomme caused his faces to switch places, with the Sad Face behind being in front instead of the Happy Face.
- His name at Camp Furrest "Nick Furry" is a direct reference to his character played in episodes of Joueur du Grenier (Nick Furries).
- Antoine is the only person with 26 hearts, he was never punished for having them, or as he says "They don't care about me", or "It's my lore" (ironically because he doesn't really have a lot of lore)
- Antoine has a lot of control over his body, he quickly learned how to move his nipples, but during the QSMP Prison, he learned how to move while meditating with the help of Foolish.
Content Creator[]
- Antoine is a pioneer on the French youtube scene : he began his career in 2012 and achieved huge success, particularly with his 42-episode comedy show "What the Cut !?", and is now one of the biggest french Twitch streamers. He's sometimes nicknamed "Final Boss of the Internets", both for an unsolved riddle he has hidden in his videos, and in reference to his huge impact on French youtube history.
- He's part of "La team du lundi" ("The monday's team") with Etoiles, Baghera, Horty and Mynthos (a group that streams together on most Mondays). He did his first SMP with them, and on this occasion he created his skin in less than four minutes. It was the second time he played Minecraft on stream in November 2022.
- He and Etoiles formed a DJ group called "Insuline et Nicotine", named after Etoiles' diabetes and Antoine's vaping habit.
- He made a song with Baghera called La vériter, as part of the ZZCCMXTP, a mixtape created by French musicians KronoMuzik, Ronare and Pandrezz, grouping songs made by various French rappers, YouTubers and streamers. They performed it together at the Olympia in Paris on November 4th, 2022.
- Antoine took part in the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions of the ZEvent (each French member on the server took part at least twice). It's an annual charity event created by Zerator (one of France's biggest streamers): for 3 days, French-speaking streamers all stream from the same location and collect donations for charity. With €10.1 million raised in 2022 for environmental associations, Zevent holds the world record for the highest-grossing charity event on Twitch.
- He was involved in RPZ, a two-week RP event organised by Zerator on Grand Theft Auto V in 2021. He was playing as Donatien de Montazac (a greedy, ambitious vineyard owner who has mellowed by adopting the Croute cousins played by Baghera and her friend Horty) and was one of the most popular characters of the event.
- Like all the French team (except Aypierre), he took part in the 2022 Pixel War on Reddit alongside Kameto to fight against the American and Spanish communities, and helped France make its mark on the event.
- He often takes part in Twitch irl shows, such as role-playing games, Among Us games or as a ZLan caster (a 3-day multigaming competition). In October 2022, he produced, broadcast and hosted an international e-sport competition on GeoGuessr, the "GeoGuessr Team World Cup". Etoiles commented on the semi-finals with him.
