Chayanne is one of the eggs in the QSMP. After the dragon parent had gone missing, the egg was adopted by Missasinfonia and Ph1LzA during the Partner Egg Event on April 3, 2023. He resided in the Garden of Hope and Music, a safe basement under Phil & Missa's house along with Tallulah, due to her shared home not being reinforced. A few months before the start of QSMP 2024, him, Tallulah, and Phil started sleeping at Rose's Sanctuary after Phil built a make-shift treehouse there, with the hopes that the eggs would be safe from the Eye Soldiers, and any other threats. In QSMP 2024, Chayanne now resides at Death Family's house on Death Island.
Physiology
Chayanne is a blemished white egg with faded white cracks, and two black legs peeking from the base of his damaged shell. As an accessory, he sports a patched up a yellow duck floatie, which allegedly gives him superpowers, along with a skull mask originally handed down to him by his Dad Missa.[6] [7] Additionally, Chayanne insists his enchanted slime armor matches the color of his "eyes," although no one has ever glimpsed what lies beneath his shell.[8]
- Chayanne, alongside the older eggs, ranks as the eldest among the older eggs, who all share somewhat identical heights.
Physiology Timeline
- Day 40 │ April 30, 2023: Originally with an unblemished shell, the eggs were quietly abducted by The Federation and allegedly "returned safely, of course :)" on that very day.[9] Yet, this was plain deceit. When Chayanne and his siblings reunited with their parents, and the newly arrived Brazilians, they found the children bruised, cracked, and visibly shaken up by the whole ordeal. None of the children retained any memory of what happened that late night.
- Day 169 │ September 7, 2023: Months later, that nightmare repeated itself. An unidentified assailant breached the sanctity of the egg's secure safehouses, perpetrating unspeakable and horrific acts. That night, Chayanne couldn't remember whether he was awake or asleep. Yet upon waking, he appeared dirty, 'moldy,' bearing additional bruises and cracks. Strangely, it also seemed he had undergone a sudden and slight growth spurt. Within days, he and the other eggs vanished again, abandoning all their belongings and parents alike.
- Day 242 - 248 │November 22 - 27, 2023: Having emerged from Purgatory and rescued from the Egg Island explosion, all the eggs made it back home, although the older ones needed subsequent recovery. Following these few days of much-needed rest and thorough cleansing, Chayanne was finally clean again. His once prominent cracks now faint, and notably, he seemed to have grown larger in size.
- Day 256 │ December 6, 2023: Now reunited with his dear Dad Phil and Sister Tallulah, Chayanne dressed up for the festive season! Thanks to Osito Bimbo, Chayanne's yellow duckie floatie repurposed into a festive wreath, embellished with scattered red ornaments and a dashing red bow tie. What a dapper sight he makes!
- Day 284 | January 2, 2024: Now that the holidays are over, Chayanne has returned to his classic duckie floatie again, but it’s slightly more detailed now, the tail even moves sideways when he walks while crouched!
- Day 302 | January 20, 2024 | Prison Day 1: Chayanne’s now a convicted criminal and has been sent to prison with his parents, uncles, aunts, and siblings. He wears an orange jumpsuit under his usual yellow floatie.
- Day 316 | February 3, 2024 | QSMP 2024 Day 1: Chayanne’s back to his usual attire, his classic yellow duck floatie.
- Day 327 | January 14, 2024 | Valentines Day: Chayanne’s yellow floatie was replaced by a pink one for Valentine’s Day! It was a light pink floatie with multycolored eyes, one half was darker and the other was lighter.

Personality
Chayanne, an energetic and combative yet responsible egg, embodies the spirit of a brave little warrior. Always eager for adventure and mischief, he possessed that relentless urge to prove himself capable of protecting his family as well as those around him. As he is eldest among the eggs, always so confident, reliable and strong, always trying to give others no reason to worry for him and do the right thing though this burden does weigh on his mind from time to time[10].
While formerly not-as-talkative as the other eggs, previously leaving his actions and mannerisms to speak for him, he now prefers to be more active in the conversations around him, while attempting to conceal his insecurities that cannot be put into words. Raised but never taught to be honest about his fears, as he observed his Dad, Philza, hold his emotions close to his chest. He had instead learned to do the much of the same, though is is still very mindful of the feelings of those who he cares deeply for[11].
Over time, Chayanne has discovered a wide array of hobbies beyond fighting and battles, finding greater value in life than just adrenaline and danger[12]. His family, home, and a peaceful existence have become paramount, outweighing the call of constant adventures. He no longer seeks chaos and fear, preferring a tranquil and happy life with his loved ones. While he still admires legendary heroes like Technoblade from the bedtime stories and enjoys occasional adventures, he now prioritizes a path that brings him genuine happiness, even if it means stepping away from constant battles. However, when those under his care encounter are harmed or in danger, especially Tallulah, Chayanne exhibits unwavering and vengeful determination to seek justice, unafraid to retaliate on behalf of those he holds dear.
Chayanne is a very sleepy egg, often only waking up to do quests ever since he began attending Night School and going to the gym. Philza claims that these are the activities that make him so tired all the time.
Chayanne has developed a hobby of cooking and will do so at just about every opportunity, becoming the chef of the family. His favourite dishes have potatoes but he loves cooking other things, even when it isn't quest related. He was asked to cater for Tallulah's Birthday and Cellbit & Roier's wedding and accepted immediately. Minutes after being asked to cater the wedding Chayanne already had the menu planned out.

Very Positive
FamilyChayanne has a strong attachment to both his parents. Philza, due to his Hardcore tendencies, tends to be very protective over his child. This being said, Chayanne has aided his dad in many ways, in combat and even helping him complete food-related quests. Phil has been the source for a lot of Chayanne's qualities and admirations, with him being the one to tell stories of Technoblade, Minecraft Championship, and even his own adventures in his Hardcore Season 4 world.
Chayanne often looks to his Dad for guidance particularly when dealing with things he isn't sure how to approach[13]. Though the two often bottle up emotions, when Chayanne comes to his dad for help and advice, Phil isn't afraid to give him truthful answers as well as providing comfort[14].
Very Positive FamilyAlthough Missa has not spent as much time with Chayanne as Philza has, he still has a very strong bond with his baby. Missa has gone on adventures with Chayanne, with the latter actually helping Missa stay alive in cave expeditions. He made Chayanne some Skeleton Armor, so as to match with his adoptive kin thanks to his skin. Since Missa also plays guitar, he's also sang lullabies to his child, even songs from his Namesake Singer.
Chayanne is very protective over his family and defended Missa during a confrontation with Forever. Chayanne hasn't seen Missa in some time and misses him dearly. He sometimes wears a skull, representing Missa in his absence and eagerly awaits Missa's return.
God-Parents
Very Positive FamilyChayanne and Tubbo initially shared a bit of a friendly rivalry, as Chayanne sometimes jokingly bullied him[15], such as when he complained about Tubbo's storytelling ability or called Tubbo's base "the Tubbo Chunk." However, Chayanne sometimes wakes up just to hang out with Tubbo and has become quite attached to his godfather. When Chayanne discussed protecting his family, he included Tubbo as part of that family, even saying that "especially Tubbo and Tallulah" need his protection.
Chayanne appreciated it when Tubbo helped with his quests but has joked that he was the one babysitting Tubbo and keeping Tubbo alive rather than the other way around. He cares about Tubbo very much and often bakes cookies specially for his Godfather. They share a deep emotional bond, and Tubbo is a very important part of Chayanne’s family, being one of the few adults that he's particularly close to.
When the Eggs got back after their disappearance, Chayanne saw that Tubbo saved his ‘Supervisor chair,’ which he had placed while Tubbo was looking after him and Tallulah. And in his words (in the birthday letter Chayanne wrote to Tubbo), he almost cried. In the same letter Chayanne also told his godfather that he noticed Tubbo has been feeling sad lately and related to that, saying he is always there to talk. Chayanne also started baking cookies specifically for Tubbo, mimicking the ones that were fathered for the Eggs, and giving him 8 each week to keep Tubbo happy and always insisting he eat them.
In QSMP 2024, Chayanne asked Tubbo is he was a citizen of the Town of Fobo and Tubbo said yes, as Chayanne is his godson. He and Tallulah asked Tubbo to spend time together, and Chayanne told his godfather that he would try to be around more. Chayanne waking up earlier than usual, sometimes on days he wouldn't usually, and always saying yes when Tubbo came over to ask if he wanted to hang out.
Tubbo's death hit Chayanne particularly hard. Directly after the death, Chayanne spent over 10 minutes simply crouched over Tubbo's body[16], unwilling to leave his side. When it came to leaving Tubbo, Chayanne was very reluctant to go with his father and took a minute to decide whether he would follow Phil or not, though he ultimately went he was clearly unhappy about it, hanging his head down while he was sat in the boat back[17]. Chayanne promised his daughter, Sunny, that he and his family would take care of her even though he himself was extremely upset, seeming just as effected as Sunny. That night Chayanne slept in his Papa Missa's bed, not leaving it until his Dad Phil came back two days later when he woke up still upset over his Godfather's passing.
Very Positive FamilyChayanne and Niki get along very well, Niki caring for both her God-children a great deal. Chayanne was very excited when he first met Niki as he now had someone who he could have conversations in German with[18]! Although he hasn't seen much of Niki, he was very grateful for when she chose to comfort and stay with him[19] him just before the eggs were taken to Purgatory and everyone but Niki and Tubbo had been asking him questions he didn't know the answer to. As part of his family- Chayanne was protective over Niki and jumped to defend her when Antoine accidentally hit her[20]
Family
Very Positive FamilyThe man, the myth, the legend, only ever heard of in bedtime stories. Technoblade is simply Chayanne's idol, and he has heard of Technoblade's many exploits, such as the victory in the Potato War, the global domination of the Antarctic Empire, and the shared victory with friends during MCC 4.
Parallels are often drawn between them as Chayanne aspires to emulate Technoblade's strength and the wit needed to triumph against adversaries. Inspired by his idol, Chayanne has even started his own potato farm with the ambitious goal of farming 100,000 potatoes. This goal has been reached.
When Chayanne saw Techno's shrine at the Día de Muertos he commented how Technoblade is a big inspiration for him.
When Phil had become possessed by The Ender King and Chayanne had to battle him, the spirit of Technoblade guided him, predicting Phil's every move and advising Chayanne on how to effectively counter and strike back, helping bring the young warrior to victory.
Best Friend
Siblings FamilyChayanne and Tallulah share an incredibly close positive and healthy relationship, with Chayanne being fiercely protective of her. He has even dedicated himself to protecting the eggs on the server. Their bond has been described as "yin and yang" by Phil, as they complement each other perfectly and seem inseparable. Chayanne often calls her by many nicknames, like "Lullah" and "Princess."
In his desire to always keep his sister safe, Chayanne often put her safety and happiness over his own as he was the older sibling. He kept this bottled up for a long time and after going through the Egg Crisis and Purgatory, Chayanne eventually snapped[21] when Tallulah wanted to put her own safety at risk to search for Dapper after he had been kidnapped. Chayanne talked this out with Phil and later made up with his sister[22], gaining a new understanding of each other.
Very Positive FamilyAlthough Chayanne was shocked to learn that Sunny was Tubbo's daughter, he was very happy to meet her and told Sunny to protect Tubbo. Due to his and Tubbo's joking that Tubbo cannot even take care of himself, he offered to let Sunny come to him if she ever needed anything. When Sunny had an asthma attack, Chayanne told Tubbo that “…maybe she is apart of this family.”[23]
Ever since meeting her, Chayanne has been very friendly with her despite his sister's apprehension towards the new eggs. Chayanne has consistently shown care for Sunny and likes hanging out with her.
While they were in the QSMP Prison together, after their parents were asleep and the eggs were being tested by Cucurucho one of the tests was a PvP battle. When Sunny's turn came, she was pitted against Leonarda who kept attacking after they had already defeated Sunny. Though Ramón was the one to run in and stop Leo, Chayanne also moved to do the same thing but fell back after he saw Ramón had it under control and instead stuck close to Sunny after she came out.[24]
In QSMP 2024, the two had started to hang out much more together as Chayanne began waking up for his Godfather as well as his parents. During this time, Chayanne's affection for Sunny only grew and they developed a much stronger bond than ever before. After Tubbo's death, Chayanne promised Sunny that he and his family would be there to take care of her. That night Creation appeared, it seemed to be looking for Sunny but Chayanne was very worried about her, he tried to stop her from going over to it[25] and then stood in front of her protectively after it returned her to him[26].
Positive FamilyChayanne was happy to meet Em. They have decided to work on a bakery together where Chayanne will be to cook. A little later when Niki mentioned that they would make it a cat café, Chayanne was uncertain because he thought he would have to dress up as a cat. Em and Chayanne shared a laugh once it was clarified that a cat café is not where you dress up as cats, but that the café will just be full of cats waiting to be pet.
Neutral/Positive FamilyWilbur and Chayanne have a somewhat strained relationship as they had a rocky start initially. While Wilbur holds Chayanne in high regard due to Tallulah's admiration, they still engage in a form of sibling rivalry. They frequently engage in "brotherly spats". Despite this, they still seem to care for each other— if the need arose, it is unlikely that Chayanne wouldn't try to defend Wilbur. The same is true for Wilbur.

Very PositiveBad has taken care of Chayanne multiple times leading to Bad being one of the most trusted islanders in terms of when Chayanne needs someone to take care of him. The two used to speedrun Egg Quests late at night together to make sure Chayanne got his Quests complete while he was attending night school[note 3]

Very PositiveChayanne is always happy when someone compliments his food, so when Cellbit trusted him to make the wedding banquet, Chayanne was quite happy about it. On Day 92, Cellbit took care of Chayanne and Tallulah when Philza was away and they had a good time together, especially when they destroyed a village together and Chayanne loved doing it. At the end of the day, Cellbit told the eggs a story and said goodbye by kissing them each on the forehead.
PositiveChayanne and Bobby were close friends so Chayanne saw Roier quite regularly. After Bobby's death Roier comforted Chayanne, who believed that it was his fault Bobby had died since he wasn't there, and expressed his desire to take care of him sometimes. However, Missa did not allow this out of fear that Roier would kill Chayanne or get him addicted to substances.
PositiveChayanne think that 악어 is funny and is fun to be around. Chayanne likes to spend his time with 악어 when he can. He calls 악어 "hyeong" (also spelt hyung), which is a Korean honorific used by men for older men. On valentines day, Chayanne gave 악어 some leather, and in return 악어 gave him 10 diamonds, which he was very thankful for. Chayanne likes how he makes fun of Quackity sometimes as well. They haven't spent a significant amount of time together yet, but he enjoys 악어s company.
Neutral/PositiveDespite being on better terms with his dad Phil, Chayanne still exercises caution around Forever. If he catches Forever taking a step too far, he keeps a cage at the ready to trap him in case he tries to harm Phil in any way. He has used the cage, once. Chayanne has grown fonder over Forever and even gives him food he's cooked anytime he sees him. However, after being possessed by @v@ Chayanne's opinion of Forever has soured, although not as severely as some of the other egg's. Due to his father's insistence that it wasn't Forever, Chayanne feels sad that Forever is gone.
Neutral/NegativeWhile Charlie is a funny Uncle of sorts, he was responsible for Chayanne's first –but thankfully reversed– death by technicality of breaking the egg's bed, as well as attempted murder with a charge of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon, this being a mechanical chainsaw. This being said, Charlie has allegedly changed his ways, and as Chayanne is aware he is a "troubled man" he has elected not to kill on sight.
Neutral/NegativeAlong with Charlie, he was a witness of Chayanne's first –but thankfully reversed– death by technicality of breaking the egg's bed. With this being his only act of ill intent against the child, and as Chayanne is aware he too, like his partner, is a "troubled man" after the death of JuannaFlippa, he has elected not to kill on sight either.
Very NegativeChayanne and Quackity have a strong dislike for each other due to an incident in which Quackity attempted to harm Chayanne and Missa with a chainsaw. In retaliation, Chayanne comically blew up Quackity with TNT, which has led to their ongoing hostility towards each other. Chayanne feels Quackity is a threat to his fellow eggs and only attended Quackity's Kindergarten in order to protect them[27]. Chayanne's protective nature over Tallulah has lead him to tolerate him in front of her as she liked him, though this tolerance was only for her sake.
Eggs
Best FriendThey close friends often seek adrenaline rushes by climbing to new heights and performing water bucket clutches to show off their skills. They also have a history of exploring dungeons together and fighting off monsters of the night. Furthermore, Ramón is a member of the Tantrum Trio along with Chayanne and Dapper.
Very PositiveBobby and Chayanne had somewhat similar personalities which meant they got along very well with each other. Whenever they were together they would be practicing water drops and playfighting with each other. Due to their nature of playfighting, whenever they had a disagreement, they would fight it out physically (although they never killed each other). One of these arguments was over Bobby burning down one of Tallulah's trees, Chayanne's response to this was to shoot Bobby until he was downed to send the message not to mess with his sister. Despite these fights, Chayanne and Bobby were very close.
When Bobby died, Chayanne blamed himself since he wasn't there to help him. Roier reassured him that it wasn't his fault, no one was to blame for Bobby's passing.
Very PositiveSince there are moments where Richarlyson finds himself alone, Chayanne invites him over to his house for company and protection so he won't have to be alone. Richarlyson is also a member of Team Moridos along with Chayanne and Leo. Team Moridos is a club of eggs that only have one life remaining. Chayanne showed that he likes Richarlyson a lot after making a painting that both have a friendly fight with guns.
PositiveLeo is a member of Team Moridos along with Chayanne and Richarlyson. Team Moridos is a club of eggs that only have one life remaining. During the Egg Crisis the eggs were split into three groups with Chayanne and Leo being a group. Chayanne gave materials to Leo to build for and defended her from mobs.
PositiveDapper is a member of the Tantrum Trio along with Chayanne and Ramón. Though the two don't tend to see each other so often due to conflicting waking hours, they both enjoy each other's company.
Other - NPCs
Very PositiveAfter being shown Rose's Sanctuary and told about her by Phil, Chayanne has always kept her roses in his inventory. He goes to her sanctuary for comfort and safety, showing himself to be the most at peace whenever he perceives her as being near. In return Rose has protected him against those looking to harm him such as when @v@ put explosives and Shadow Virus matter around other eggs beds but couldn't find Chayanne or Tallulah while they were sleeping at the sanctuary.
Very PositiveLuffy showed up in his orchard a few seconds before Phil returned. Chayanne was first unsure if he could trust Luffy, but Phil explained that Luffy was a little buddy that helped them in Purgatory, to which Chayanne welcomed Luffy with open arms.
Chayanne and Luffy became friends. Luffy helped Chayanne and Phil with their orchard. Phil and Chayanne did their best to protect Luffy from both some Purgatory Workers and Faceless Workers, but with the Faceless Workers, they were unsuccessful.
Neutral/PositiveChayanne was initially very wary of Creation and attempted to keep his siblings away from it[25] and tried to stay in between them. After he understood more about what it was and what it was there to do, he seemingly warmed up to it a little despite not trusting it entirely, still getting between it and Sunny when it gave her back to him to take care of her[26]. Creation calls him "Duck Shell" and he is one of the only two eggs which Creation has considered important enough (either to it or to Tubbo) to try and comfort somewhat[28]. After understanding that Creation could help bring back Tubbo, Chayanne tried his best to help it and even gave it a wrench thinking it could maybe be Tubbo's missing purpose data[29].
Very NegativeThe first time Chayanne encountered Cucurucho, he thought he was cool. Over time Chayanne began to like him less. Later, Cucurucho saved Chayanne and the other eggs and brought them back home to Quesadilla Island.
Sworn EnemyThe Ender King had been trying to reach Phil, for a while. The Ender King eventually took over Phil's body and mind. On several occasions, Chayanne has had to protect the people he loves from the one possessing his dad and on one occasion, Chayanne had to defend himself from the Ender King's wrath (successfully beating him in battle).
Sworn EnemyAttempted killer 3 times and has killed his sister Tallulah once and attacked other members of his family such as his godfather Tubbo, and Sunny. It was later revealed to Chayanne by Philza that the codes were being used by the Federation. Chayanne did not believe this one bit.

- Chayanne's name is in reference to the stage name of the Puerto Rican singer and actor, Elmer Figueroa Arce.
- He is currently only allowed to kill 4 people: ElMariana, Slimecicle, Quackity and the Binary Code Entity.
- He is responsible for the Quackity wanted posters. He currently has unfinished business with him.
- He has exceptional talent in cooking and baking. He tends to make most meals related to Egg Quests.
- He likes spicy food and has a color coordinated backpack full of all the ingredients he has.
- Chayanne has the ability to speak and has spoken four times. However, he denies that he can speak.
- The first instance was in response to Tallulah wanting Quackity to give a second chance
