• '-' : A meme from Felps community, usually known as "Felps Face". Whenever Felps is mentioned or something related to him happens, people from his community tend to spam it.
• 2 Minutes: An inside joke between some of the Brazilians. Originated from a time where Cellbit guided a group somewhere and every time they asked how long until they got there, Cellbit answered "2 Minutes". It ended up taking nearly an hour and now, every time people are going anywhere and ask how long it will take, they answer "2 Minutes".
• (…): A way for the egg admins to break 4th wall and get out of RP to talk to the streamer/chat.
• -RP: When someone breaks the fourth wall, chat would spam -RP.

A

• Ai Preto: A Brazilian song that was introduced to Roier and Maximus that became a inside joke.
• Asthma/Asthma Attack: A term whenever Tallulah is lagging. This is also used to refer to when some other characters are lagging, particularly within the extended Death Family.

B

• "Bom Dia": Directly translates to "Good Morning" from Portuguese. Refers to a ritual on Cellbit's stream where he will drink coffee with Richarlyson, the two will then say "Good Morning" and jump while doing a little twirl in the air. Everyone in chat then spams the message "Bom Dia."
• Brunim Neets: A friend of Forever's who has a skin of Kisuke Urahara from Bleach. This is the origin of Forever's obsession with Philza since he also has a skin of Kisuke Urahara.
• BTS: A while back Antoine Daniel joked that a big upcoming announcement was gonna reveal that the band BTS would join the island for a minecraft live show. Since then it became a reoccurring joke every time something big gets teased. Even if it doesn't make sense, Content Creators will find a way to manipulate the teaser into being about the BTS arrival.

C

• Canon Chats: Chats which are canonical to QSMP:
  • Felps' chat are called "bapo," derived from the term "bate-papo" (chit-chat) which is essentially just Felps talking to himself.
  • Philza's chat are crows that follow him around and give him gifts.
  • Foolish's chat are called the Doozers from Fraggle Rock and are miniature construction workers who help him build.
  • Ironmouse's chat are called "precious family" or "Flancitos."
  • Bad's chat are ghosts, which he nicknamed "Ghosties."
  • Cellbit's chat are just the voices in his head, they are established as canon when Cellbit was working on the QSMP ARG on his in-game setup.
  • Fit's chat are also just the voices in his head, but are referred to as "Huevitos" and can be depicted as little eggs.
  • Bagi's chat is a imaginary friend called "Jorge."
  • Maximus' chat are his show's audience.
  • Pac and Mike's chat are little laboratory mice called “Ratinhos” that watch them build.
  • Antoine often refers to his chat as it being Pomme using her dragon magic especially when she is with him.
  • Jaiden's chat were voted by her fandom to be hummingbirds, Jaiden expressed her likeness of the concept, but stated that the viewer could be other birds beside hummingbirds.
  • Tubbo's chat are called "Tubblings" but they have no physical form and he often refers to them as "The Voices."
• Capybaras: Sometimes the admins like to join the game to mess with the server members. They take the form of Capybaras who communicate with soundboards (as one of the admin rules is mic coms are not allowed for their own safety).
• Chathopping: Jumping from one streamer's chat to another streamer's to tell them something they shouldn't know or don't care about knowing.
• Cellbit is a cat: Cellbit is frequently drawn as having cat ears and a tail by fan artists. This is because Roier's nickname for him, Gatinho, means kitten or kitty in Spanish. Cellbit has protested this, however, this has had the opposite effect.
  • Was temporarily made "canon" in the QSMP after fanarts presenting Cellbit with cat ears and tail started appearing at the Art Museum. Later Mike gave Cellbit a haircut that included cat ears.
• Cubito: Term used to refer to the character played by a content creator within the game. It’s purpose is to differentiate the streamer from their Minecraft avatar and the character they play.

D

• Dorime: An inside joke and a meme when one of the admins would randomly play the song Ameno, which was created by the musical band ERA.
• Duo Names: A list of names used for the friendship between the two characters. See Group & Duo Names for the list.
• Dragon Magic: The canonical explanation for how the eggs are able to access the creative menu, teleport, and do other admin things.

E

• Enigma do Medo/Enigma of Fear: Cellbit's upcoming video game for his RPG series, paranormal order. Often said in tense/confusing situations to lighten the mood.

F

• Favela Five: A name from the community referring to the Brazilian Members; Bagi, Cellbit, Felps, Mike and Pac. They were once known as the Favela Six.
• Faz o F: A slogan Forever used during his election campaign and during his presidency.
• Felps'd: Being banned by Cucurucho. A reference to the time Felps got kidnapped by Cucurucho and Cucurucho banned him. Also known as getting "Disfruta La Isla".
• “Fofoca”: A word in Portuguese that means “gossip” commonly used amongst the islanders when they have tea.
• Fourth Wall: A term that refers to a social convention in entertainment that seeks to delimit reality and fiction, and that in this case separates the characters from the audience and the administrators who play the roles.The Fourth Wall is an unstable construct, and is frequently pierced with jokes by Philza.
• French Chunk: An inside joke between the content creators due to the fact that the chunk of La France is very Laggy. Every time they start to struggle or the frames start to drop they tend to joke about it. It grew so much that Content Creators have mentioned making jokes about it with one another IRL.
• FTC:
• Fudge: One of BadBoyHalo's swears.
• Fuga Impossível: A series created by Pac and Mike back in 2015. The plot centred around the pair going to prison and breaking out. Cellbit portrayed the villain in the series. The series has been referenced multiple times and is confirmed to be canon to Cellbit and Tazercraft's backstories. Literally means "Impossible Escape".
• Felipe Minecraft: A nickname for Philza often used by the streamers and viewers of the QSMP, which began during the Purgatory Event and is still used by chatters and other streamers, particularly Roier and Etoiles.

G

• Gegg: Egg identity of Slimecicle, created to cope with his daughter, JuanaFlippa's death.
• GoPro footage: Streamers use this term when they reference other’s streams or clips and so they don’t metagame.
• Group Names: A list of names used for the friendship between more than four characters. See Group & Duo Names for the list.

H

• Hatsune Miku:
  • Wilbur has been compared to her by Cellbit, because to him, both are singers that "don't actually exist."
  • A name/nickname Jaiden has given to several of her and others' pets.
• Headcanons: Ideas and assumptions that the fandom has about the characters or the server’s story that are not explicitly supported by the canon lore. (ex: Cellbit being a cat hybrid)

I

• "I am a boy and I eat an apple": A phrase quoted by Cellbit and Forever in different languages; the origin of Pomme's name.
• ”Is this lore?”:
• ”It’s so Joever”: A funny phrase the Morning Crew use when something is over or isn’t working out

K

• KELP: Stands for King Emperor Lord President. It refers to Foolish's presidency campaign where he self-proclaimed to be the one and only K.E.L.P.
• KOC: Stands for King of Ccapybaras. After Foolish lost all of his presidency campaign lives, he shifted his goals into becoming the K.O.C. He was later officially crowned by Elisangela.
• KOS: Stands for Kill on Sight. When Fred was kidnapped by Quackity, Tubbo frequently said how if he saw Quackity then he would "KOS." Whenever Tubbo talks about killing another character, his chat tends to spam KOS.

L

• Lapada Seca: A Brazilian Portuguese expression that roughly translates to "Dry Slap". It was often used during the election debates. It refers to a harsh and aggressive take that leaves the receiver speechless. Comparable terms in modern English slang would be slay or based.
• Late Night Crew: Late night crew is made up of Bad, Richarlyson, Dapper, and Pomme.
• Latino Lag:
• Laughter: Different cultures have different ways of expressing humor online.
  • Brazilian Portuguese: KKKKKK (pronounced Kakakakakaka)
  • English: LOL/LMAO, short for "Laughing Out Loud" and "Laughing my ass off"
  • French: MDR, abbreviation of "Mort de Rire" or "death by laughter" in english
  • Spanish: Jajajajaja; the "J" sound is pronounced as a "H"
  • Korean: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ (pronounced kkkkkkk)

M

• Metagaming: Telling the streamer something they shouldn't know in lore. Don't do this. Also don't chathop nor pressure a streamer to take care of an egg. They have lives outside streaming, just like everyone else. Please treat them like people.
• Muffinhead: A patented BadBoyHalo swear.
• Mumza: Ph1LzA's chat's nickname for his wife Kristin, also called the Goddess of Death.
• Morning Crew: The group name given to Fit, Tubbo and Pac with many honorary members. (see Group and Duo Names)
• ”My Broooo”: A phrase Etoiles uses a lot that people on the server often quote when talking about him or when they mimic him.

N

• Nightmares: often used in connection to lore events. Two definitions:
  1. Occasionally the eggs will have nightmares which are usually bad omens and foreshadowing. Leonarda and Tallulah both had nightmares a week before they were kidnapped.
  2. When an egg loses a life but it isn't considered canon, it's referred to as a nightmare. The trend started after Philza, Chayanne, and Tallulah were killed by an overpowered mob called Nightmare Stalker.

O

• Oh nanana: Most likely a reference to the song Oh Nanana by Bonde R300. Originally brought up by Maximus but evolved into a larger meme, specially with the Brazilians creators.

P

• PAC E MIKE WOWOW: A reference to Tazercraft's music video. It became somewhat of a meme that every time the duo does something or becomes a focus of attention, people will bring it up.
• PASSA TUDO: Started by the Brazilians, “Passa tudo” is a phrase in Portuguese which means “everything passes”. When someone robs/steals from another person, they say “Passa tudo” and wear a balaclava to “hide” their identity. Some people call themselves part of “The Passa Tudo Clan”.

Q

• Quackity pay the server: During Day 55, the server experienced severe lag spikes. This led to creators saying the phrase whenever the server lags and/or are kicked because of lag.

R

• RadioEgg: A band made up of Tallulah, Chayanne, Leonarda, Richarlyson, and Pomme. They made their official debut at the Cellbit & Roier Wedding.
• Ragamuffin: A patented BadBoyHalo swear, which is used as an insult.
• Reach for the Stars: Etoiles' campaign slogan due to the fact his name translates to Stars in French.
• Richard: Richas's named when he was played by Chayanne's admin on the day the Brazilians arrived; the admin couldn't speak Portuguese and took a long time to write signs.
• Ricardão: Name given to Richas when speaking to Richarlyson's Admin.
• RP Points: A joke initially started as a way to taunt Tubbo, most used by Etoiles whenever someone says something out of character.

S

• S.H.E.L.L.: A term created by BadBoyHalo to refer to his election campaign strategy. It is an acronym for "Safe, Happy Eggs in Life and Liberty".
• Ship Names: A list of names that are used as a romantic relationship between characters. Several Content Creators have set boundaries on what they like or don't like. Please refer to Content Creators' Boundaries for more information. See also Group & Duo Names.
• Skeppy: Bad's closest real life friend. Claimed to be Dapper's father and to canonically be stuck in a gas station by Bad.

T

• The Jaidens: Jaiden, Bad, Cellbit, Foolish. After the Noises event the group dubbed themselves the Jaidens, due to the fact that it was Jaiden's mission.
• Transformer Team: Name given by Foolish to the team supporting Arin's antics.
• Trio names: A list of names used for the friendship between the three characters. See Group & Duo Names for the list.
• Technoblade: good friend of most of the English Members, most notably Phil, who sadly passed away in June 2022.
• Telepatovo/Teleggpathy: A action that eggs can do to communicate with others or "metagame". Basically used to explain why eggs can message other eggs while they are offline and why some seem to know when they parents call them over, and they show up even though they aren't there to listen. See also: Dragon Magic.
• Tengo Lag: A reference to Roier's insane lag. It's always said in a Spanish accent as a joke/reference.

• Voices: What most members of the island call their chats. (with some exceptions).

W

• What the muffin: Another one of BadBoyHalo's swears.
• What the seal: In French seal is “phoque” which sounds like “fuck”.
