Eggs

The Encapsulated Granulated Genome System, simply known as E.G.G.S or Eggs, are experimental entities that made their debut during the Partner-Egg event. They came into the spotlight, initially described as dragon eggs that were "abandoned" by their parent, The Dragon, upon it's waking from the wall's explosion on the first day of QSMP. The Federation allegedly took custody of these eggs, then distributed them on Adoption Day to the island's residents to be cared for. A tantalizing promise of a prize awaited for those who'd successfully nurture their egg, while punishment loomed over those who'd fail – neither the reward nor the consequence ever materialized in the end, though. Notably, not every egg found a loving home; some met their demise in cruel maze trials, or worse, were given hope only to be abandoned by the Federation.

• Each egg has two "lives." Failure by the island residents to fulfill their weekly Egg Quests at least thrice a week, they will lose a life, results in the loss of one of these lives. Regrettably, we have witnessed the loss of four: Bobby, JuanaFlippa, Tilín, and Trump, previously, only a few eggs retain both lives including: Pomme, Pepito, SunnySideUp, and 춘식 however following the eggs recovery in the Egg Hospital all eggs with one live regained their other one.
• The eggs are NEVER safe and are continuously endangered by multiple threats, including The Federation, The Code Entities, The Eye Soldiers, and the numerous perils endemic to the island. As a result, the island's residents find themselves united in a collective effort to ensure the safety of these children while actively seeking a means of escape.
• The Eggs are portrayed by server admins, who remain anonymous. Although their perspective is not directly streamed nor shown, brief clips allegedly depicting the world through Tilín's admin have surfaced online. Admins usually maintain control of a one primary egg instance but may shift responsibilities to accommodate time zones and streaming schedules of other players. For instance, Bobby's admins took on role of Tallulah when her assigned administrator is unavailable.
• However, after approximately eight months, no further information regarding the existence or location of this "Mother Dragon" has surfaced. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the Eggs are experiments and are implied to come from Egg Island, thus the Eggs have never met their mother and have only been informed of two things: The Dragon's abandonment and that they will eventually be adopted by somebody.

Note: Please do not dox nor pester the admins if they reveal themselves, I.e. asking Bobby's admin questions when he streams. They are also people and should be treated as such.

Events

• Egg Adoption Event (Day 13): The event where the Eggs arrived on Quesadilla Island and were adopted by the members present at the time. Eight eggs were presented at this time, being Bobby, Chayanne, Dapper, JuanaFlippa, Leonarda, Ramón, Tilín and Trump.

• The Trial (Day 22): A trial made by Slimecicle and ElMariana to decide what would be the fate of JuanaFlippa, their daughter who had lost her last life by a missclick from her own father ElMariana.

• On April 15 (Day 25), an egg was discovered in a discreet attic above the The Adoption Center by Wilbur Soot and FitMC. As the day progressed, the musician would end up adopting the egg and naming her Tallulah.

• Funeral Event (Day 27): An event held to honor and remember the three eggs that had passed away at the time: Tilín, Trump and JuanaFlippa. Their parents also had the chance to see them one last time.

• Welcome Brazil! (Day 40): After crashing their Cargo Ship, the arrival of 5 new Brazilian Members on Quesadilla Island led them to find a new egg that got adopted by them and named Richarlyson.

• Welcome France! (Day 56): A plane crashed on the Island and brought 5 new French-speaking members who found a new egg for them to adopt, naming her Pomme.

• Egg Crisis (Day 170-242): It was a social and political crisis where all the Eggs disappeared from Quesadilla Island, leaving only their important objects in their homes and causing chaos and despair for their parents. The crisis ended after they were found on Egg Island and rescued by Cucurucho, resting at Egg Hospital and taking with them three new eggs found there and which would later be adopted by other members of the Island. These eggs were Empanada, Pepito and SunnySideUp.

• Día de Muertos (Day 225): During the Egg Crisis, a cultural event was held to honor the people who have passed away, and members of the Island had the opportunity to meet the deceased eggs Bobby, JuanaFlippa, Tilín and Trump for that one night within the event's grounds.

• Welcome 악어! (Day 324): After 악어 arrived on Train 3, he was led by Quackity to a house with an egg inside, which he adopted and named 춘식.

• On April 20 (Day 394) an official broadcast by QSMP was streamed and introduced a new egg named Nacho. Their assigned adoptive parent is Cucurucho, who was incredibly hesitant about adopting the egg, and rejected it multiple times. Nacho tried many different methods to appease their new parent with the help of Black Bunnies, but got dumped in various, increasingly dangerous places by Cucurucho every time. When the bunnies tried to force Cucurucho to accept the egg, Nacho shot them down with a gun, finally earning their new parent's respect, becoming their official assistant and receiving their name.

Trivia

• When new language speakers join the server, a new egg that speaks that language is given to the new arrivals to take care off. So far, Richarlyson, Pomme and 춘식 are the only three of these eggs.
• Some Eggs are confirmed to be older/younger than others
  • Chayanne, Dapper, Ramón and Leo are the oldest living eggs.
  • Chayanne is confirmed to be the oldest egg on the island.
  • Ramón, Dapper and Leonarda are triplets.
    • This is further supported with the discovery that Ramón's first admin and Dapper's admin are childhood friends, and Ramón's first admin convinced Dapper's to apply for the role.
  • The eggs discovered in between events' ages go Tallulah, Richarlyson then Pomme.
  • Of the eggs discovered on Egg Island, it's confirmed that Empanada is the eldest, Sunny the middle sibling and Pepito the youngest of the three.
• Most of the eggs have uniquely coloured signs, with the exception of Bobby, JuanaFlippa, Tilín and Trump.
• All the eggs are at least bilingual.
  • Dapper can speak three languages (English, Spanish, and German), both of Chayanne's primary admins are trilingual, Richarlyson knows Portuguese, English and has a basic level of experience on Spanish and French, and Ramón's new admin knows English, German, French, and Cantonese.
• Some of the eggs are part of the LGBTQ+ Community.
  • JuanaFlippa is Transgender (MTF), Tilín is Non-Binary, Leonarda and Trump are Genderfluid, and Dapper and Richarlyson are Agender.
  • Despite this, Richarlyson's gender was debated between the Brazilian parents, being determined through democratic vote.
• Bobby's admin was a fan of Roier for many years and after the egg's death was inspired to start streaming again.
• Some of the eggs are also canonically neurodivergent.
  • Tallulah is implied to be autistic, Dapper is canonically autistic, Leonarda is dyslexic, Richarlyson has ADHD and Sunny has dyslexia and ADHD.
• Most of them are mute, with the exclusion of Chayanne's ability to speak on rare occasion. Although, some of them have additional disabilities, such as Richarlyson having lost a leg and Tallulah and Empanada having sensitive ears (Tallulah has hearing aids and Empanada has noise cancelling headphones).
• Egg A1 is a mysterious egg, only having appeared once in The Federation's Laboratory. They died the same day of their appearance by being tricked into falling into lava through the copied platform. It is unknown whether they have more than one life.
• On Day 161 (August 30, 2023) of the QSMP Cellbit found a document about Hope in an apparently abandoned adoption place.
