The Elections Dinner was a mini event that was held on July 27, 2023 (Day 128) hosted by The Federation but later revealed to be a trap set by the Binary Entities to kill the Candidates present for The QSMP Elections.

History

Through the mini-event, the goal is to continue with the "QSMP Elections" event, where players and the QSMP community can vote for their preferred candidate to occupy the position of president of Quesadilla Island, which had been delayed for various reasons.

After starting the day, the current candidates and guests headed to the area where presidential debates were previously held. The place has now been remodeled and transformed into a dome-shaped event hall. Before entering to begin the dinner, there was a red carpet where guests and candidates could pose for photos taken by Walter Bob.

After all the attendees entered, a few minutes later, a video message from Cucurucho appeared to kick off the mini-event.

After a long campaign season,

election night is quickly approaching.

Tonight, the candidates will give final speeches

about their campaigns and why they deserve your vote.

But first...

At the start of the mini-event, on a screen located on the stage in front of the attendees' seats, a video titled "QUESADILLA ISLAND MEMORIES" was shown, which collected some fun moments that happened during the past few weeks on the island. After watching it, the attendees took their seats to begin the dinner and, afterward, the final speeches of the current candidates.

Before starting the speeches, Philza noticed something unusual in the behavior of the eggs, which was not typical. Tallulah shaked her maracas all the time, instead of doing it only to grab people's attention to her signs, and Chayanne was hitting Philza all the time. He almost immediately knew they were false and called them out but no one noticed it. The false Chayanne said “he doesn’t love me anymore”. During the speeches Philza decided to go home to check if the eggs were still asleep. He found both egg beds put, so they obeyed the order Philza gave them.

Philza took a picture of the egg beds as proof of them being asleep and at home. He showed Fit and Forever the pictures to prepare both to whatever the false eggs were planning.

After the speeches from BadBoyHalo, Forever, Etoiles, Mike, Gegg, and ElQuackity in that order, something strange happened with the eggs. Chayanne and Tallulah transformed into Binary Entity and began attacking the attendees. During the battle, as everyone prepared to fight, unfortunately, Gegg lost his last life, and he was disqualified from the elections.

After a long battle, Etoiles and Philza managed to defeat the Binary Entity, and everyone gathered again. With everyone reunited, Slimecicle confessed that he was Gegg, and the mini-event came to an end.

The following members are the current candidates to run as presidents of the QSMP. Cellbit, Baghera and Foolish have been disqualified due to loosing all of their presidential lives that had been given to them at the start of the electoral process.

Speeches

After concluding the dinner, each candidate has the opportunity to give their final speech to wrap up their campaigns, before proceeding with the voting.

Forty times. That's the number of times we have encountered the code entity.

Twenty-four is the number of times that the eggs or other players have been attacked by it. That is over twenty-four times that we had to watch our children, friends, and loved ones being attacked by a monster that, up until now, until the elections, the Federation would not even acknowledge it existed.

Some of our children, my son included, have lost their lives to this monster. And the entire time, the Federation sat on their hands and did nothing. Then, all of sudden, when the Elections is announced, they tell us not to worry about it?

How can we trust anything that they have to say when they refuse to acknowledge basic reality? We are all competing in this Election because we hope that the scrap of power that the Federation will give us will be enough to make our lives better.

But how can our lives be better? How can our lives be better when our children lives and the people that we care about are being destroyed? How can our lives be better when people who we haven't elected are in control of it?

When the people with power refuse to protect those that they govern, they have lost the right to govern them. We must never forget that we did not choose the Federation. We must always remember that WE ARE THEIR PRISONERS.

A vote for me is a vote against them. Unite with me, and I promise we will burn down the Federation down and make the code monster and anyone who has harmed us burn with them. Let's escape this island together. Thank you.

Hello, everyone! Goodnight! Actually, I'm actually really scared because I think maybe something will happen tonight, I don't know, the last party was kind of a explosive one, right? But, I came here to tell you guys what I'm planning if I become the president.

So, the first thing I would do is give paçoquinhas to everyone. And as you say, "the one who knows it, knows it," paçoquinha is really good. Then, I would take care of the eggs, like I already have been doing since the first day on the Island.

Other stuff, we all want to look beautiful, we all want to use beautiful clothes. Don't you guys think it is sad that BadBoyHalo its almost every time like BarbieBoyHalo, but we couldn't see it because of the armors? So, if I become president, I will try to put mods to hide the armors, so we can be BEAUTIFUL and protected.

I will try to open the Nether. I have a lot of tips and contacts because of my twelve years of experience in Minecraft, so I will make the server less laggy; we will not have to worry about lags anymore.

First thing, sorry, English is not my first language, but I will speak with my heart, and the heart is the best language. Is the the best thing, speaking with your heart is the best thing.

I'm here since like, one month in this island, and I have never changed the way I am, I never changed my program, I never changed what I want to do on this island. I just want to protect everyone, and, you know, I'm always talking about armor, but I think the best armor is the smile of the face of everyone when I give a gift, and I really think that all I want to do on this island is doing things to add people.

I discovered the bug who killed three eggs one week ago; I made like so much researches. I discovered the new dungeons to help people how to do it because I will never go to a first time dungeon with someone, because I want to protect others, and I really think that if you look at my campaign, you will see that the only thing when I lost my life, when I was with Baghera, because Baghera took my life, I wasn't even mad because its my friend and I was like, "it happens." I'm like really trustful because I know the only way to lose a life for me is to have people with me, and I will never die to this stupid code and for the stupid dungeons.

So, like, I think I will be the best option for you because I will kill, and I will protect the eggs and protect everything, and I will ensure to give a trivia-thing to everyone on this island, because the QSMP taught us how to understand others cultures, and I think doing a quiz, doing an event once a week, with me presenting questions about like, anyone's culture, would be amazing.

So, I will have security, I will have weapons, I will have mods because I'm a nerd, and I know Minecraft, I know Minecraft by heart, and I will also add smiles because smiles is the is only thing we need.

Through all this campaign elections, I've learned a lot, I've considered many things, but more than anything, my priorities have changed. And I realized that to have a society with harmony and peace, it takes a bold candidate.

So, I want everyone in this room to understand the main thing about my campaign, and I wanna make it very clear: FUCK THE FEDERATION, FUCK THE CODES, FUCK CUCURUCHO. I realized that these people are not looking for a best interest, so I call, whether I win or not, I call for the immediate death of the Federation, and if make it to power, I will make sure that the Federation is destroyed FOREVER, and that the island is RETURNED to the PEOPLE that DESERVE IT!

On July 26, 2023 (Day 127), one day before the scheduled dinner, the Twitter account @QsmpEN posted a bingo related to the event, inviting everyone to make predictions about what will happen on the day of the event.

Hatsune Miku performs.	Leo, Richas, or some other egg refuse to wear armor.	People leave to play at Lucky Ducks.	Slimecicle sings the song JuanaFlippa.	Philza gives an Irish farewell.
The Binary Entity appears without creative mode.	The TazerCraft find a way to accidentally (or not) break another rule.	At least one candidate loses a life.	Many Geggs appear at the dinner.	Wilbur returns to the island.
The dinner is not about the election.	Chayanne takes over the buffet service.		Forever tries to make Philza jealous.	At least one egg loses its life.
Mr. Mustard is the dinner...	Felps mentions pasta and disappears.	Fit, Ramón, or Aypierre do not crash the server.	Dancing Capybaras.	Etoiles begging to fight.
There is an explosion.	Everyone makes a final campaign speech.	Special presentation from RadioEgg.	Walter Bob appears.	We see Chayanne, Cucurucho, and the Capybaras all at the same time.

Hours later, the other update accounts responded with their predictions for this bingo. However, the Twitter accounts @QSMPES and @QSMPPOR replied with their own bingo.
