João Victor, mostly known as Jvnq or Jv, is a Brazilian guest of the Purgatory 2 Event from the QSMP, who was announced on December 15th, 2023. He is portrayed by the content creator of the same name.
Jv has already been mentioned a lot by Cellbit, Pac and Mike, due to their past in Alcatraz prison, where they were fellow prisoners, except that Cell never liked Jv and was responsible for his death. Somehow, Jv returned to participate in Purgatory 2 and came across Cellbit 8 years after his death, still not getting along very well with him.
Personality[]
Jv is a funny person who enjoys laughing and making jokes most of the time. He prefers conversation over conflict (even when his inner voice urges otherwise), but when necessary, he channels the "Hypixel Lion" and resorts to violence, always aiming to help others.
He talks a lot but gets quiet when he's focused, often alone. He also seems to be very courageous; when Cell encountered his team, Pac was terrified, but Jv was calm, facing Cell head-on without showing fear but rather confidence, not taking Cell seriously, even though he was responsible for his death in Alcatraz. Jvnq is also dedicated and determined, often carrying the team and coming up with smart strategies. He's a real go-getter, always thinking outside the box as the team's strategist.

Very PositivePac, along with Mike, were always his best friends in Alcatraz prison, planning for them all to escape from this prison together and try to leave Cell behind, since he was a psychopath who tried to manipulate them. However, it was too late and Cellbit made Jv his victim and Pac and Mike witnessed their best friend's body stabbed inside his cell with Cell on top of him. They buried him and honored the loss of their friend.
However, 8 years later Pac meets Jv again in Purgatory II and is confused because he wasn't dead. Despite many doubts, both managed to stay on the same team and did not hesitate to protect each other, giving their lives to win this tournament together. On Day 2, they had the unfortunate presence of Cellbit, the person responsible for Jv's death who, despite Pac having forgiven him and living together on Quesadilla Island, the boy was completely crazy and his psychopathic personality had returned, in addition to being manipulated by The Watcher with his friend from the Team Bolas, Baghera. When they met, Pac was desperate trying to protect Jv, while Cell wanted to make him kill Jv so that he wouldn't be killed and lose points for his team, since he was the Leader and it was very important that he not die, but Jv was surprised by Baghera killing him before Pac could decide and was soon after killed by Cellbit as well.
Very PositiveFebatista and Jv are very close friends. Febatista often translates Jvnq's sentences for the other team members since Jvnq's English isn't as advanced as his. They like to tease and play pranks on Pac. Jv once playfully joked about wanting to trade Febatista for two cherry trees in the chat and also humorously "cried" because he didn't want to be on the same team as him and Pac. Despite their playful banter, they are great friends and they did everything they could to boost the team's morale so they could win.
Very PositiveGumi and Jv hit it off really well after getting to know each other. Jv has the habit of teaching Gumi various portuguese words so that she can pronounce them, and he is also very supportive of her "Pokémon" collection. Gumi finds Jv quite amusing and funny. When Pac and Jv were arguing, Gumi described the situation as "Mom and dad are fighting."
Very PositiveJust like Gumi, Shubble also finds Jv a very funny guy and often laughs at his phrases. Jv also has the habit of teaching her Portuguese phrases. They collaborate in taking care of the base and completing missions together.

Very NegativeDuring "Impossible Escape", in Alcatraz prison, Cell hated Jv. When Pac and Mike wanted to escape from prison by boat, there was only room for them and Jv, so Cell murdered him so he could have room to escape with them, leaving Pac and Mike in shock, as they had a strong relationship with him.
8 years after these events, Jv is mysteriously invited to Purgatory II on Egg Island, the place where the first Purgatory took place and where some people were trapped there, one of them being Cellbit, member of Team Bolas. Along with Baghera, they received a mission to hunt down the new Sinners that were there and, in the middle of that, they came across Jv. At first he was confused and asked Baghera to let him kill him, as they had a past together. He finds this reunion comical, asking if this really was a real Purgatory, as he was supposedly alive in front of him even after being stabbed by him 8 years ago and buried. Jv showed no fear and said it was okay to be sacrificed so that his team leader and best friend Pac wouldn't die, but Baghera, who was thirsty for blood, killed him while Cell talked to Pac to make him kill Jv instead. of being killed and losing more points for his team, so consequently Cellbit killed Pac too.
Very NegativeBaghera, partnering with Cellbit's team to hunt down the Sinners in Purgatory II, found Jv's team and went after him, but Cellbit said to leave Jv to him, as they had a past history together. Baghera's desire for blood caused her to kill Jv while Cellbit tried to convince Pac to kill him instead in exchange for him not being killed by Cellbit and losing more points for his team (since he was the leader).

- Before entering Purgatory 2, Jvnq was already mentioned a lot by the Brazilians, especially by Pac and Mike, who were fellow prisoners at Alcatraz prison, until Cellbit kills him and they come across their dead friend in front of them.
- However, the fact that Jvnq is in Purgatory 2 creates a lore conflict, as he was clearly seen being killed in the past. It is possible that he is a ghost or a banshee.
