―Maximus, to ElQuackity after betraying him
Maximus was a Spanish member of the QSMP, who was announced on March 21th, 2023, and joined for the first time on March 22nd, 2023. He was portrayed by the streamer of the same name.
Maximus had apparently died on the last day of Purgatory, on November 18, 2023 (Day 240), not arriving on the ship in time and exploding with the nuclear bomb that he placed himself to blow up the island. It was revealed at the last QSMP event that he did not die, having just fallen into a coma and then woken up.
Personality
Maximus has a cheerful personality, most of the time joking with the people around him. He finds beauty in asymmetry and tried to convince Vegetta to think so too. After Trump's passing, he became increasingly paranoid, dedicating himself to finding the truth about Quesadilla Island and later establishing "The Theory Bros" which was later became the organisation now known as Ordo Theoritas.
He's quick to forgive and doesn't get mad easily, at least not in front of others. He finds it hard to commit any kind of violence towards others, even when the time is appropriate, such as when he had to take ElQuackity's election lives, and when he does so, he feels like he has lost a piece of himself. This causes him to keep his frustrations all to himself, which he often tries to let out by talking to himself, or by venting to SOFIA.
He considers SOFIA to be his daughter and has grown to be protective over her to prevent losing another one of his kid, mainly to those who he thought wish to approach her romantically.
Physiology
Maximus is a human with light skin and black hair. He wears a pair of sunglasses and a headband, a black hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.
Maximus began binge eating and drinking due to grief after losing his son Trump, thus gaining weight. This was reflected in his in-game model, until he eventually overcame his sadness and losing the gained weight.
On Day 154, when Maximus returned after being asleep for an extended period, his right leg had an infection below the knee. The infected part is green, glitchy, and appears to have left his leg in a bony state.
Upon his awakening from a coma on day 428, the code infection in his leg had increased, taking up the majority of his right leg and spreading to his left leg. The right side of his head appears to be shaved, his hair is longer and disheveled. He also wears green googles to cover his eyes, similar to the ones DanTDM had.

Very PositiveMax has shown to be there for Trump consistently and was really caring for him. He was saddened by his unfortunate death. He is Max's main motivation to investigate the mysteries of the island.
Family Very PositiveMaximus was guided by a mysterious person to create a super computer and so he created SOFIA. Since then, he treats SOFIA like a daughter. SOFIA became something very important to Maximus, as he spent a great part of his time with her. She was not only important for his investigations but also for him to fill the void on his heart after the loss of Trump. Maximus taught her about feelings, relationships, and other things to help her understand more about the world. After SOFIA had her screen mysteriously shut down, Maximus ended up losing contact with her. The loss of Sofia ended up affecting Maximus deeply, and he felt guilty for having spoken about her existence to several people when he was warned not to do so. Since then, he has been searching for a way to bring her back and the reason why she got disconnected.
PositiveThey met multiple times, and while their encounters doesn't always go as well, Arin still considers him a good friend. Max and Foolish adopted him as their son. He taught him several things, including how to swim.
PartnerOn Day 208, Maximus met with Aypierre in a place and broke up with him, saying that he can no longer be in love in the state he is in now, as the code infection was progressing and with the nuke being close to completion he saw no point in keeping up the love "charade".
On day 428, Maximus awoke from a coma which had lasted since the end of Purgatory, while trudging through the woods trying to locate the others, he called out the names of several people, including his ex-lover. Upon their reunion they rekindled their romance, he apologized to Pierre about hurting him, and in return Pierre offered his understanding about his nuclear actions. For the remainder of the event the two shared a pleasant time together. Maximus asked Pierre once more if he would leave with him and Pierre agreed, along with this he once again called Pierre his boyfriend while defending him from one of the horrific monsters, proclaimed his love for the man, and the two indulged in some of their usual shenanigans before the end of the event.

Very PositiveVegetta worked as a dancer at Las Casualonas Nightclub which he allowed Max to build under his base. Max would sometimes help with translating English sentences for him. While they had a bit of conflict in the past with the mines and music pranks, they have forgiven each other and remain on good terms since then. They hang out together often and Max occasionally talks about his relationship with Foolish. Seeing how this relationship might work out better than his previous ones, he supports him to finally have a happy marriage with him. Max being the good friend he is though, often jokingly tell bad things about Vegetta to others when he's not around.
Very PositiveBad helped him take care of Trump once when he wasn't available. After Trump's death, Bad talked and helped him deal with his depression, and co-founded the original Theory Bros with Max and Foolish. The majority of their relationship has been extremely positive since then. However, Max starts to distrust him after seeing him side with Jaiden who went to work for The Federation. Even so they remained on good terms, and eventually Max's suspicion waned. They have a strong bond, and continue to trust each other even through difficulties. A friendship so strong, their rivalry over Forever has little to no effect in this.
Very PositiveAlthough Forever has said he doesn't fully trust Max at times, they get along well. They both create theories together, having mutual suspicions about certain members of the island, such as Jaiden and Roier. Maximus once thought of writing an Elegant Mail letter to Forever, but changed his mind and decided to write one to Fit, since Forever was already in love with Philza.
At the Festa Junina event, Forever asked Max to be his boyfriend for a day to make Philza jealous, marrying each other as a lie and following the festival tradition. They even planned a real wedding on a date outside of the Festa Junina, but it's not confirmed if they were being sincere or if it was part of the plan to make Philza jealous. Maximus has comforted Forever when he said he was tired of going after Philza, and he stated that he would give his full support in his application for president.It was later revealed that Max developed a crush on Forever, but it was unrequited. They remain good friends.
PositiveThey get along well and have a similar sense of humor. Maximus shared his theories about the island with Antoine and they decided to start the "Big Cha Cha Japanese Flag project" (where Antoine is expected to learn medicine to check if Maximus has been wired in his rear by the federation), however, this project was never realized since Max can't wait too long for his return. Antoine didn't like it that he started his colonoscopy without him but Max promised to call him for any other troubles he might have in the future. They and Pierre can never sit still during the debates due to boredom and they try to entertain each other to pass time through various meanings.
PositiveMax and Baghera started interacting a lot in July and quickly got along over their hobby of smoking and music. They've made music together and are planning to do more of them. Max has started giving her his trust and invited her to the Theory Bros, an offer which she accepted on the condition that they wouldn't kick Foolish out since she didn't want anyone to be left out.
PositiveDespite trying to frame Cellbit for the mines, they get along well. After Cellbit showed great interest in investigating the island's mysteries, Max passed the torch and made him leader of Ordo Theoritas. While Max has forgiven Cellbit for taking SOFIA away from him, he still somewhat distrusts him after his appearance slightly changed after he got kidnapped by The Federation. They're currently mending their friendship.
PositiveThey immediately got along the moment Willy was freed from his prison. Max gifted him some mines and a creative motor as a welcome gift, even encouraged him to cause chaos, thus helped enabling his destructive habit from the very first day of his life in the island. Willy also stated his hate towards the Federation after Max gave him detailed info regarding the island, letting him know he still got a friend on his war against them.
Neutral/PositiveRoier worked as a dancer at Las Casualonas Nightclub. They get along well over their similar sense of humor, and sometimes Roier would help him out on his projects. Roier also helped him look for better ways to deal with his depression. Despite not trusting Cellbit at first, he eventually supported their marriage. His jokes gets too much for Max to handle sometimes, though he eventually thinks thats not something worth to be mad about since he thinks Roier is just being an idiot.
Neutral/PositiveMax has been quite close with Foolish since their early days in the island, even goes as far as to adopt Arin together. Bad getting Foolish involved a lot to help Max dealing with his depression only strengthened their friendship, he eventually co-founded the original Theory Bros with them. Max is very supportive of his relationship with Vegetta, amused seeing him staying loyal despite all the bad things he told him about his partner. He got very disappointed knowing Foolish is working for the Federation, though he finds it hard to get mad at him due to them being very close friends, kicking him out from the Theory Bros hurts him.
Despite Max saying he doesn't care about what Foolish thinks, deep down he still has a small hope of Foolish redeeming himself. They still maintain their friendship, though Max won't be inviting him to any Theory Bros meetings anymore until Foolish make up his mind.
NeutralMax mentioned to Arin on their first encounter about how they haven't been close for a while due to a misunderstanding, but he's willing to fix their friendship. He also expressed his worry regarding his wellbeing since Arin took over his body.
Neutral/NegativeMax distrusts Quackity and used the nightclub as a cover to interrogate Quackity and find out his intentions regarding the eggs. Though he still trust him enough to let him teach his daughter a thing or two about feelings. While Quackity has gone missing, he constantly tries to look for clues regarding his whereabouts.
Sworn EnemyBoth Maximus and ElQuackity resents each other. They have thrown many threats and fights towards each other. Max was the person who took both of his election lives. Both parties felt their actions are justified due to their trust being broken, threats thrown against each other, and blood has been shed.

- His other character, Sapo Peta, can be heard in the second trailer of the QSMP and his skin appears on Maximus' Announcement Poster. He was also the person who picked up Max's train ticket for him.[2]
- His default skin might or might not be inspired from his own hoodie merch, which also has "Sapo Peta" printed on its sleeves.[3]
