Non-Player Characters (NPC) are characters that are not under the control of one of the Members invited to QSMP. They're canonical characters and beings from the QSMP that are portrayed by people who do not stream their perspective and their actions are controlled through the narrative, done by the people running the server.

On Day 2 of Purgatory II (Day 270 of QSMP), The Content Creator Bastet had problems with a power outage at his house, so Matt allowed him to use his setup at his house to play, saying that "today the God of Obscure allowed purgatory to continue for some of the competitors".[1] |
