The Penguins are a group of characters first seen on Day 323. Tubbo was working in his storage room when he spotted Icy outside and mistook him for the ghost of his dead pet Factory Penguin. Shortly after, the same penguin appeared at spawn and tasked Mike and Richarlyson with creating a parade float for Carnaval.
While each one of them has their own personalities, they all just follow people around and interact with the residents.
All these characters look the same, resembling their real life animal counterpart. They are slightly larger than eggs wearing a player head, have black and white feathers, little tufts of black feathers poking up from the top of their heads, orange beaks and flippers, and wear a red bowtie.
As of Day 326, February 13th, 2024, there are a total of 9 Known Penguins. Most penguins have a unique accessory to differentiate themselves
Icy was the first of these penguins to be seen. Icy wore a carnaval mask after interacting with Mike and Richarlyson up until Carnaval, but before donning the mask, they had no identifying accessory. Icy approached Mike and Richas, as well as Ironmouse and Empanada, and asked them to help build parade floats for the upcoming Carnaval cultural mini-event.
On Day 327 a similar plain penguin approached 악어 at his home to wish him a happy Valentine's Day.
Sk8board was first seen by Philza, grinding on his skateboard inside The Mall. When the residents gathered in the mall followed him into the Missions shop, he greeted them saying "WASSUP MY DUDES" and asked if his "bros" knew about Carnaval, an upcoming cultural mini-event. He tasked the gathered residents with building their own floats, and shortly after found Baghera Jones building her home and brought her to spawn to do the same.
PonPon was first seen by SunnySideUp on Day 324. While Ironmouse, Bagi and Empanada used the Wither Skeleton below the Town of Fobo], Sunny stayed upstairs after showing Bagi their enchanting area, and PonPon arrived outside. Sunny spotted and quickly fetched the visitors downstairs and brought them upstairs to meet PonPon. Sunny asked PonPon if they would be her penguin, and unlike the others she asked, PonPon seemed to agree, hugging Sunny back and jumping with her happily afterwards. PonPon also has a Carnaval mask, which they showed to the gathered residents and eggs saying they visited a place with a magical event with lots of colour called "Carnaval", and shared with Bagi when she shared she may not be able to attend the Carnaval event. PonPon asked the four to help make parade floats, and offered to paint a portrait of them as payment for their help. When mentioned, PonPon said they like Icy and, while leading these four and Tubbo to the area to build the Carnaval floats, PonPon revealed that they are scared of spiders.
