RadioEgg is a band composed of Pomme, Tallulah, Leonarda, and Richarlyson as the artistic director. The band made its debut at Cellbit & Roier's wedding, but as of now, there are no concrete plans for a second performance.
History
Day 71 - June 1, 2023
Aiming to console Pomme following the Code Entity attack on Day 71, Antoine conceived the project. He thus proposed forming a musical band featuring Pomme and Tallulah, sensing a musician's soul in both eggs. Richarlyson's integration as artistic director soon followed, with his artistic responsibilities may extend to album covers and posters.
After initial discussions, Antoine met with Philza and Tallulah to explore the project further. While Tallulah enthusiastically agreed to be part of the band alongside Pomme, she remained uncertain about her instrument choice. Eventually, they settled on the name "EggJoy" for the band, though Tallulah wasn't entirely sold on the idea, leading to the project being put on hold.
Day 79 - June 8, 2023
A few days later they welcomed a new member, Pomme invited Leonarda to join the band as the guitarist, and Leonarda gladly accepted the offer.
Day 81 - June 10, 2023
Antoine returned after a brief absence and discussed the band's progress with Pomme, who revealed that Leonarda had joined. Aypierre also joined the discussions, and together they settled on the name "RadioEgg," drawing inspiration from the English rock band Radiohead. As they awaited input from Tallulah and Leonarda, Pomme spent time with her parents and worked on crafting new instruments for an upcoming performance. In Antoine's absence, Baghera was assigned to manage the project.
FIRST REHERSAL: Day 85 - June 14, 2023
Seeking to contribute to Cellbit and Roier's wedding, Baghera proposed having RadioEgg perform at Cellbit & Roier's Wedding. A surprise visit from Philza, Tallulah, and Chayanne provided the perfect opportunity to revisit the band project and plan their debut concert. The band was officially named RadioEgg, and Tallulah and Pomme began rehearsing for their performance.
With the wedding approaching, Baghera arranged for RadioEgg to perform. Philza, Tallulah, and Chayanne joined the rehearsal efforts, and preparations intensified.
THE DEBUT: Day 87 - June 16, 2023
After thorough preparation, RadioEgg made their long-awaited debut at Cellbit & Roier's Wedding, greeted by cheers from the audience. However, a minor hiccup occurred as they were Tallulah, who was asleep (playing as a Capybara). Instead, Chayanne stepped in as a substitute. Baghera also then took charge of coordinating the band as the performance kicked off.
As the music played, Gegg unexpectedly made a spontaneous appearance - adding his gunky dance moves to the mix. Unfazed by the surprise, the band forged ahead, playing through the performance. The culmination of the event was met with cheerful applause, and jubilant celebration from both the delighted guests and proud parents.
At present, RadioEgg has not made plans for a second performance.
Trivia
- One of the first name suggestions for the band was “Eggjoy.” This name was inspired by her dad Wilbur’s band Lovejoy. However, Tallulah was not a fan of the name.
- The band name RadioEgg draws its inspiration from the celebrated British rock band Radiohead, known for seamlessly blending alternative rock, electronic, and experimental elements in critically acclaimed albums like "OK Computer" and "Kid A."
