The Nightmares[]
Romero Richas (also refeered to as Montel Richas) is Richarlyson's persona. They manifest during Richarlyson's dreams, where he starts to sleepwalk. During this state he paints on canvas with a similar art style to Romero Brito, a Brazilian painter with some very controversial speeches. He often also writes down a collection of cryptic diaries.
When he wakes up and sees these paintings, he tries to burn them as fast as possible.
Cellbit once said that Richarlyson had admitted having seen the name "Montel" in his dreams. This led people to believe that this was a reference to "Montel Florence", a character from one of the spin-offs of Paranormal Order (Cellbit's Role Playing Series) called "O Segredo na Ilha"(The Secret on the Island). Richarlyson later confirmed the two were not connected and that the two characters were not connected, and all evidences were just a funny coincidence.[1]
The Timeline[]
Day 85 - June 14, 2023
The only sign different from all the others was the one in the locked chest where Cellbit kept the Romero Richas artworks. This sign said "RETURN".
Later that day, upon finding the book titled "No Escape", Cellbit tried running away with it. As he walked away from the Gazeebo, he found some mysterious signs that were being placed out of thin air in front of him that read: "DO NOT"; "GET OUT"; "YOU CAN'T"; "THERE IS NO ESCAPE".
Because Cellbit had left in a hurry, later Richarlyson, out of the Romero Richas persona, handed him over a second copy of the painting in case Cellbit hadn't been able to grab the original. Cellbit then found two signs that read: "IT DOESN'T BELIEVE :>" and "HE WILL DENY".
After recapping Forever on everything that had happened they both found two new signs that read: ":>" and "DO YOU LIKE IT?". However, unlike other times, they were aware of Richarlyson's location on the map when these signs during their placement and they could see him as being in a different place of the island.Day 100 - June 29, 2023
Day 139 - August 8th, 2023
To stop them from fighting, Forever teleported the eggs to their respective safe rooms in the N.I.N.H.O. and spoke to them separately. Richarlyson was very upset that his painting, which meant so much to him, had been taken away and given to Phil, Tallulah, and Chayanne behind his back. Tallulah was also upset, feeling like she had lost a sibling forever.
Richas went to paint in his tower for a while. While he was painting, Romero Richas seemed to take over. Forever began asking Richarlyson if he was awake, if he was okay, and if he could see the painting that Richarlyson had in his hand, to which Richarlyson responded with two signs, reading, "NO" and, "HI :>." Forever asked again if he could see the painting, and Richarlyson said, "IT IS NOT FINISHED, NOT FINISHED IT'S ATROCIOUS IT'SATROCIOUSIT'SATROCIOUSITSCOTRITSSTROCIOUS." Forever asked if Richas needed some time to finish the painting, to which Richas said, "YES :> THANK YOU."
When Richarlyson was done painting, he left his tower, and Forever, who had been watching from outside, went inside to investigate. Forever found several colorful canvases on the walls and inside a chest, a new Romero Richas painting depicting Tallulah, and a book titled "???" inside a chest labeled "Diário." After leaving the tower, Richarlyson seemed to go back to normal, and he and Tallulah apologized to each other and were able to patch things up.Day 140 - August 9th, 2023
Cellbit logged on that same day to a message from Romero Richas reading, ":> HI." Cellbit immediately went to investigate, finding another sign in front of the elevator to Richarlyson's tower reading, "HI :>." Going up to the tower, Cellbit found red canvases all over the walls, a new painting of a star in the style of Romero Richas, and what appeared to be blood on the floor. He also found a book titled "???"
As Cellbit was about to read the book, canvases began dropping onto the ground in front of him. Although these canvases at first appeared to be completely black, after adjusting their exposure in photoshop, Cellbit found that one of them actually contained a creepy drawing of a deformed face and a hidden message, written in morse code. This message, when decoded, read, "WANNA TALK?" Another canvas read, "X DDiG Z LDE," which appeared to be the coordinates (4497, 1245) written in a code.
Cellbit cleaned up the tower, and Forever showed up. The two discussed the new books and paintings they had received, and their theories about Romero Richas. Cellbit wondered if it all had something to do with the fact that Richarlyson had lost a life, if Romero Richas was perhaps his previous life possessing his body. Cellbit also theorized that it could have something to do with Bobby, since a "friend" had been mentioned in the new book, and the new star painting could have been inspired by something Cellbit told Richas soon after Bobby had died: all the dead eggs become stars. Forever and Cellbit then decided to go to the coordinates Cellbit had been given together.
Arriving at the coordinates, they found a ladder leading underground into an all-black room which had a bell, a few cobwebs, and some redstone on the floor, and a black canvas on the wall. Cellbit noticed another drawing of a deformed face, hidden in the canvas. He rang the bell, and Romero Richas appeared, climbing down the ladder and entering the room. Richas looked between Forever and Cellbit, moving his head very slowly, acting extremely unusual. Richas placed a sign, reading, "HI."
Cellbit began interrogating the mysterious entity possessing his son, asking him, "Who are you?" Richas replied via sign, "I AM COMFORT. NOTHING." Cellbit asked, "Why are you in Richarlyson?" and Forever asked, "What do you want from Richarlyson?" Richas answered their questions with a question, saying, "DO YOU LIKE THE SKY?" and ":>" They answered, "Yes," to which Richas said, "THANK YOU :>" leading Cellbit to ask, "Are you a star?" Richas replied, "I COULD BE. I CAN BE. AM I?"
"What do you want from us? What do you want from Richarlyson?" Cellbit asked. Richas said, "DON'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW THINGS? CELLBIT?" and, "DON'T YOU LIKE TO PRY ON THINGS? FOREVER? AREN'T YOU GLAD?" Forever said he wanted his son back and rang the bell thrice. Richas walked over to the bell and rang it four times. He said, "WHY DO YOU KEEP TAKING IT? DO NOT." Cellbit explained that they take the paintings because Richarlyson hates seeing them. Richas replied, "WHY NOT? I AM COMFORT."
Cellbit began speaking harshly, calling Romero Richas a parasite. Richas replied, "BUT I CAN DIG WAY DEEPER." Cellbit and Forever insulted and threatened Romero Richas, calling him weak and shallow, and promising that they would find a way to get him out of their son. Richas handed them an unsigned book, written in Portuguese. Cellbit continued threatening Romero Richas, saying, "I don't know if you can feel anything in there, but if you are able to feel something, you better be afraid. Because he and I will stand in your way."
"DON'T YOU WANT TO LOOK CLOSER?" and, "I DO NOT EXIST. I AM NOTHING TOO :> HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY," said Richas. After a moment, he asked, "CAN YOU HURT ME?" Forever continued to threaten and insult him, and to accuse him of hurting Richarlyson, pointing out the blood on the floor. "I AM NO DIFFERENT," replied Richas. "IT KNOWS I EXIST, ASK IT. GOOD LUCK :>" he continued. Cellbit responded that they didn't need luck, they just needed time to get him out of Richarlyson. "GOOD LUCK. YOU CAN'T ACHIEVE THAT." and, "DO NOT, DO NOT SELL, NOT TAKE" were Romero Richas's responses.
Richas then said, "WHEN THEN ARE NOT HERE, I TAKE THEIR PLACE," and, "JUST PASSING BY. SHHHHH," and warped away. Cellbit and Forever resolved to find a way to get Romero Richas out of their son, or, if that was impossible, to help him find a way to control him. They decided to not confront him right then, though, and instead to wait for a good opening from him.Day 143 - August 12th, 2023
After taking a brief break to speak with BadBoyHalo and Baghera, Cellbit went to Foolish's Titan to see if Romero Richas had left something for him there. He found some blood in the grass and some signs reading, "WRONG :>," "THE SUN'S TOMB," and, "KKKK." Realizing he had the wrong "giant," Cellbit went to the Christ the Redeemer statue instead. There, he found a book titled "???." This book mentioned a "beach," and a "beautiful view," so Cellbit decided to go to Copacabana, where he and Richarlyson had watched the sunrise just the day before.
On the shore of Copacabana was an empty easel and a water frame with a broken discord link inside. The link contained only the file extension, not the name of the file. A little further back from the shore, a chest was buried in the sand, marked by some blood on the surface. Inside the chest was yet another book, which contained the missing file name: "Where_it_will_end."
Once he had pasted the missing information into the water frame, Cellbit pressed play on the video. It was a short, abstract, animation of waves crashing on a shore, with each frame painted in the style of Romero Richas. The words "WHERE DID YOU NAMED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME," were written on the waves in the video.
Cellbit concluded that this statement referred to the Adoption Center. Arriving there, he found a chest surrounded by blood, and inside the chest, a book titled, "SEE YOU LATER." As Cellbit finished reading the book, the blood and the chest vanished into thin air in front of him.
Cellbit met with Forever at his castle, Forever being worried because Richarlyson had disappeared. Cellbit caught Forever up to speed on everything that had happened that day, and the two discussed their theories about Romero Richas. Forever felt that Romero Richas was leading them towards an old base of his, as it was a place where Richarlyson and Forever had bonded a lot. Cellbit and Forever decided to go there together.
Forever immediately noticed blood on the floor and cobwebs on the walls; his old base had definitely changed a lot in the time he'd been gone from it. Eventually he and Cellbit found a room which had, in addition to the blood and cobwebs, blank canvases all over the walls, an empty easel, and a chest enclosed in protected glass. In front of the chest was a sign reading, "WHAT DO YOU SAY WHEN THEY GO TO SLEEP?" In answer to the sign's question, Cellbit said, "good night," and the glass obstructing the chest was removed. Inside the chest was a book titled, "Later!"
The book read like a goodbye letter, speaking of a "final painting," and ending with the phrase, "SEE YA LATER!" Cellbit and Forever wondered if it was Richarlyson or Romero Richas saying goodbye, and Cellbit wondered who it was that they had said "good night" to. Cellbit and Forever were even more worried because they had tried to check on Richas earlier but had not been able to find him. However, when they went to check up on him again, Richas was safe in his room, perfectly fine.Day 157 - August 26th, 2023
The two of them ran to the secret room at the Castle to analyze the evidence they had found. While Cellbit initially thought that the codes might be braille, he found himself getting stuck as the translated messages didn't much sense. They followed the book leads back to his room where they noticed a new weird armor stand had appeared. The armor stand started shaking, scaring the group, and soon a book appeared by it.
The book mentioned that the statue was looking at them, so they looked back at the diary and noticed the line, "AND NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE, THEY LOOK BACK AT YOU." Cellbit opened a hole in the wall, as he imagined it might be related to the secret opilas room, where the opilas had turned black and could look at you from all directions. However, soon another statue appeared warning them that while It was looking at them, someone was not.
They ran through the castle until they came across a set of armor facing the horizon. Upon examining it, they found that the helmet seemed to hide the coordinates to ElMariana's House. At this moment, Cellbit revealed to Forever that Richarlyson had a deep fear of ElMariana because of the horror stories Roier would make up about him.
In the house they found a chest with another Diary and a painting of a room. After reading it, they quickly gathered that the next clue might be at Richarlyson's first room, at the Favelas. Once there they found another painting, a painting of a Lighthouse with a coded message in it.
This lead them astray, as first, they got the wrong coordinates and then, Cellbit believed it might have something to do with the Lighthouse that they visited during the Interesting Performance investigation. As they explored the lighthouse, another armor stand appeared by them, handing them a book telling them to go back.
Once back in the room, Cellbit was finally able to decode the coded message, leading him to a place by Maximus' Antenna. There, a trail of blood guided them into a field of orange daisies, Richarlyson's favorite flower, and two chairs placed there by Pac and Mike. While wondering where the next clue would be, Cellbit and Forever were surprised by Richarlyson who appeared out of thin air. However, to their surprise, it wasn't Richarlyson, but the entity possessing them.
The entity dropped a book to Cellbit before promptly leaving, guiding them back to the Favelas where they analyzed a statue Richarlyson had cleaned the night prior. Not able to find any leads there, they decided it was better to just wait and ask Richarlyson what he did last night, as the book Romero Richas gave to Cellbit had told them to do so.
After Richarlyson woke up, they spoke to him, but his memories seemed hazy, with him saying that he just remembers doing something between the favelas and the castle after he was done cleaning the statue. The Diaries[]
