SunnySideUp, simply called Sunny, is one of the eggs found on Egg Island by Cucurucho. She was adopted by Lenay, Polispol, Slimecicle, and Tubbo on November 21st. She was found the same time as Pepito and Empanada.
Personality[]
Sunny loves the money and boasts quite the personality. Among the children, she is sweet yet is also sassy, snarky, and a rather bratty, revelling in all the wealth she had amassed! Often described as a 'Material Girl' who detests anything dirty (and, heaven forbid, the "poor"). Adored by her Pa Tubbo, she's been thoroughly spoiled and treasures their time together. When meeting with others, she presents a confident and headstrong demeanour, effortlessly making new friends on the island.
Though she may be a confident girl boss, she is notably very self-conscious about others opinions of them. At times, she reveals a shy and anxious side, especially disliking when she feels overlooked and deprived of attention. Additionally, when she tried and failed to make friends with some other eggs, she began to truly doubt themself. Sunny feels their dislike of them is completely unfair, and she has resorted to only relying on a few close friends.[note 10]
Sunny has a particularly interesting relationship with death which affects how she interacts with the subject. Sunny was first properly introduced to death after seeing her Ma Lenay's body floating in the river below her Pa Tubbo's factories at Tubhaus. Here with her Pa Tubbo, Sunny started telling Tubbo how her Ma was a mermaid and, not wanting to hurt her feelings, Tubbo went along with it[5].
This was seemingly the start of Sunny's fanciful mentality surrounding death. Sunny sees the deceased people who she cares about as more like fantasy characters, such as the afore mentioned mermaids. This mentality has gotten to the point where she almost rejects the idea of a loved one's death being final and sometimes even interacts with the dead in a similar fashion to how she interacts with the living such as pretending she could speak to her Ma's body or asking Fit if he knew where Tubbo had gone after his death[6]. This is not to say she is unaware of a close one's death, as she's completely able to recount the events of her father's death and understand that he's not alive, however it seems she uses this fantasy land mentality as a form of coping by escaping in to her own princess dreamworld.

SunnySideUp is an unblemished white egg without a single crack, with two black legs peeking from the base of their shell. As a stylish accessory, Sunny sports a pair of dark-grey sunglasses complemented by sleek black rims, complemented by butterfly wings, crowns, and tiaras as additional accessories.
Physiology Timeline[]
- Day 256 │ December 6, 2023: Sunny had prepared herself for the Festive period! Thanks to Cucurucho, she was decorated with a bright Christmas star, adorned with a festive ribbon as well![7] She has since changed out of this Christmas attire and returned to her original state.

Very Positive
FamilyPa. Sunny has a very close relationship to her father, Tubbo, who was the first and only parent of hers who she saw for her first two months. It was a little awkward initially, with Tubbo being apprehensive about being a father and Sunny calling him poor, but the two started warming up to each other much more as they spent more time together.
Tubbo ensured she was protected with enough gear and armour on her first day (until she refused to wear it). Sunny also hides behind Tubbo when first meeting other islanders, or when she’s scared of someone or something, showing she feels safest in his care.
The two bonded over their shared interests in money and world domination, Sunny saying Tubbo was a genius when he showed them his factories. Tubbo agreed to make Sunny a moving train carriage home, where she could keep all her money and live in. As well as a coffee shop on a train and her own factory.
The two wake up every day and occasionally go to Favela and have Sunny’s daily coffee at StarBobby as they go over the day’s plans with each other. The two bond over building and enjoy each other’s company while doing so, Sunny sometimes helping, or sometimes just cheering her father on from her chair.
During Tubbo’s one year anniversary of Tubnet, Sunny gave him half a stack of chocolate as a celebration present. When Tubbo’s birthday was coming up, Sunny set up a surprise picnic and asked for people to write him books as a present.
Very Positive FamilyPop. Though Sunny didn't meet him until QSMP Prison on her second birthday, she had heard a lot about her Pop Charlie from the other residents, that he was poor, he was also the slimy egg like creature called Gegg, but most importantly that in his past he went on a rampage trying to kill eggs, so she was initially scared that her Pop would hurt her, yet still hoped to one day meet him.
Very Positive FamilyMa. On Day 316 the two finally met. At first Sunny was a bit nervous to go up to Lenay but she gained her confidence and went to go finally meet her with Tubbo later on they hung out for a little bit before going their separate ways.
After Christmas, Sunny spotted the floating dead body of their ma from her first day on the island in the river, though saddened at first and thinking that was the reason she had never met her, Tubbo told her that this was because Lenay was swimming like a mermaid and when she returned she'd teach Sunny to be like a mermaid too. They also noticed that on her dead body she was wearing a pair of shades (like Sunny) and had diamonds, Sunny saying she had taste.
When Phil, Chayanne, and Tallulah left to presumably have a family meeting, Sunny asked Tubbo if they could have a family meeting if they were with Lenay, and since that day the two often go below the docks[5] and Sunny speaks for Lenay as they have their family meetings there.
Positive FamilyUpon meeting Mariana in the QSMP Prison, he complimented her sunglasses and used a baby-voice while cooing over her and telling her how cute she is[8]. Sunny loved the attention and jumped and twirled around in excitement while being doted over. Later during the group therapy session, Sunny chose to sit over by him in the absence of her Pa Tubbo. Though neither of them seem to be aware of it, Mariana was the second parental relative that Sunny had ever met.
The second time they met, Mariana got to know Sunny a little more properly. He still showed care for her and sang/beatboxed a little song for her.
Neutral/Positive FamilyThe two haven’t met each other yet however on Sunny’s first day when he briefly logged on, Sunny wanted to go and meet him and walked over to his movie studio with Tubbo. Although they didn't get to meet him, Sunny was excited to see the studio and asked if she could be in a movie because she wants to be a star.
Very PositiveStep-Pa. Before Fred and Sunny met, she knew their relationship was similar to Fit and Pac’s relationship while they were "roommates" (just not that extreme), since learning of this Sunny brought them up a lot and was excited to meet them since they’re important to her Pa Tubbo. Upon meeting with Fred she attempted to organise for the three of them to hang out together but Fred was busy. During the interaction between her pa and Fred, she kept glancing back and forth between the two, looking at her Pa expectantly and likely hoping he and Fred would pick up from where they left off.
The second time Sunny met Fred, Fred asked Tubbo on a date and the two of them went off together. Sunny made herself scarce when she had started sensing some romance between them but still watched how their date was going from afar, after the date she even asked if Fred could be another father but Tubbo said no. However, he did offer to let her possibly have him as a Step-father in the future. She was very happy about this and was very excited about how her Pa had finally found someone.
When asked about what she knew of The Federation while being interrogated by Cucurucho, Sunny replied that "MY STEP-PA WORKS HERE :D" showing that even though Tubbo may not want her to think of him as her parental figure yet, Sunny does so anyway.

Positive FamilyThrough Tubbo's mic, Sunny first met Tommy, along with Molly on Day 343. The three of them also tried to explain to Sunny that her family is a venn diagram with Tommy in the middle. Tommy also commented that he liked her wings and joked with Molly that her sunglasses looked like a bra.

Best Friend
Siblings FamilyMoustache Boy. When the eggs first woke up Sunny met Ramón and they were polite and friendly with one another. They have interacted once in a large group, that included Philza, Fit, Tallulah and Chayanne as well as her and Tubbo, but hadn’t been able to properly spend time together and get to know each other until Tubbo got kidnapped, which was when Fit took care of Sunny while he was away. Same as when they met, they were both polite towards each other, even getting Ramón to wear one of her trusted friends crowns. That day the two had a sleep over and watched Barbie and Mean Girls, where Ramón called them his “hermanita”.
On Sunny’s birthday Ramón built Sunny a statue and spent the day with them as they searched for presents for Pepito and Empanada, even giving her advice after Sunny received a letter from Tallulah.
Sunny considers Ramón their bestie and brother[4] despite not being related by blood. The two are chosen family and the two share a very loving sibling bond.
Very Positive Siblings FamilyMy Panada. Whenever Sunny sees Empanada (however brief) she gets very excited, frequently calling her by cute nicknames, both sharing a love of cheesecake, and teasing Tubbo when he accidentally hit Empanada in a similar fashion to what he did to Sunny on her first day. As they have spent more and more time with each other, Em has become one of Sunny's closest friends, perhaps also due to the fact that the two were found together along with Pepito on Egg Island. They are sisters, with Empanada being the slightly older of the two. Sunny and Empanada are always excited to spend time together, and Sunny often begs her Pa to let them visit Em.
Very Positive Siblings FamilyMy Pepito. The two haven’t gotten to interact much but they have a very close bond as they were found together along with Empanada. Sunny has said how Pepito is one of her closer friends, this can be assumed that it's because they are siblings, and coincidentally also step-siblings due to her Pop Charlie, and his Apa Mariana.
Very PositiveSunny first met Fit with Pac, where she 'employed' him as her bodyguard (except he pays her). Later on, she found out that Pac is Fit's "roommate". She and her Pa Tubbo regularly joke with each other about Fit and Pac's relationship. Whenever Sunny is a little upset, if Fit is around, he tries to help and comfort her in his own special way. Tubbo has told her that if she ever wants to go and hang out with Fit on her own then she's very welcome to.
Sunny also came to Fit to vent her frustrations and fears over if Tallulah hated her, and didn’t want to be friends. When Tubbo had an asthma attack and Phil was telling Sunny about Tallulah’s situation, she hid behind Fit showing how she feels safe enough around him to come to him for comfort. Although she has been scared that Fit would betray her at some points, Fit is ultimately one of the islanders who she trusts and cares about most.
Sunny considers Fit to be part of her family, and when they were left alone with him during Tubbo’s kidnapping to purgatory, they developed a closer relationship. Fit treats Sunny like his daughter, and often plays along with any of her ideas, even being there with Ramon for their birthday party. Fit has referred to Sunny as his other kid multiple times in the past and Sunny has only ever had a positive reaction to it, so it is assumably reciprocated but not confirmed.
While Tubbo was kidnapped for Purgatory 2, Sunny woke up to hang out with people other than Tubbo for the first time, Ramon and Fit. Fit is one of two people who she has woken up for and willing to leave their Pa’s side for.
Sunny and Fit also own a Smoothie Bar together, and while there they had a very personal conversation about her worries with Tallulah. Fit reiterating that Sunny had done nothing wrong but that its also impossible to please everyone, some people just won’t like you, but that they will also always Fit to rely on.
After Fit said she wasn't part of his immediate family, Sunny worried that this meant that the bond she had built up with him wasn't reciprocated. She eventually expressed this in a letter to him for his birthday, telling him that while she wasn't sure if he considered her family, she would always see him as part of hers. When he read this, he told her that she was family to him.
Very Positive FamilyAlthough Chayanne was shocked to learn that Sunny was Tubbo's daughter, he considers her family and offered to let Sunny come to him if she ever needed anything which she was very appreciative of. When their pa had an asthma attack and "left" her, Chayanne hugged Sunny and asked if she wanted him to have a talk with her pa about it.
Chayanne and Sunny don’t actively spend much time together, but Sunny still considers him one of those she holds close to her heart, as they listed after the encounter with Leo (saying that she only needs him, Tubbo, Pepito, Empanada, BadBoyHalo, Fit and Pac) [note 11]. She also thanked Chayanne in their letter to him for being accepting of her and her two siblings and being kind to her.
On Day 327, her pa lost his last life and the two godsiblings stuck close and stared at his body, immensely saddened by his death. Since then the two are often seen closer together, comforting each other over their pa’s passing, protecting each other when they first saw Creation, Sunny even joining others in a group hug when Chayanne was still upset in an attempt to make him feel better.
Positive FamilyAfter talking to her while she was a little overwhelmed, Tallulah gave Sunny a bit of a bad first impression. Sunny felt like Tallulah didn't like her and it took some comforting to convince her that Tallulah was just having a bad day and it was nothing to do with her. Sunny had given up on being friends with Tallulah when she sent Sunny a letter about their relationship but has since improved greatly.
Their relationship had been getting marginally better, with Tallulah giving Sunny more gifts but she admits that she is scared of Tallulah because of her fear that Tallulah doesn't like her. However, after Sunny told Tallulah they were sort of like sisters because of their connection to Tubbo in a letter, Tallulah completely shot her down. She told Sunny they weren't sisters and that she still didn't trust Sunny. If Sunny was patient, maybe Tallulah would learn to love her but it would take time.
Whenever Tallulah is around Sunny, they are very exited and try to act friendly so Tallulah may warm up to them but Tallulah only backs away from them. Indicating that while Sunny still wants to become friends and tries her best to be friendly, Tallulah is still somewhat closed off to the idea.
Sunny has given up being nice to Tallulah. she states she doesn't want to waste any more energy on a lost cause, but she also doesn't want to start any fights. Sunny has decided not to speak around Tallulah anymore, even when surrounded with other people she loves. she doesn't feel it's fair at all that she has been trying her best, and getting nothing in return.
After a while, Tallulah began to warm up to Sunny and even invited her to sleep at her home when Sunny suggested a sleepover with Chayanne and herself! The two have seemingly been getting along with each other much better than they had previously.
Positive FamilyAlthough they had never met, when first meeting her Pop Charlie, she expressed happiness when he brought up JuanaFlippa, calling her their big sister. Sunny doesn't quite understand that Juana is no longer alive and has said she hopes to meet Juana one day.
Islanders[]
Very PositiveWhen Sunny first met Pac, he offered up his services as her personal Chauffeur and she accepted. After seeing his relationship with Fit and being told they're "roommates," she and her Pa Tubbo often share knowing glances at each other and poke fun at them for this. Tubbo has told her that if she ever wants to go and spend some time with Pac when she's alone then she's very welcome to. Sunny has given Fit a crown to give to Pac from her, signifying that he's a part of her royal staff.
When Fit and Pac got together, their pa wanted her help breaking them up, which she only agreed to because it meant they’d have no more time to spend with her, showing how much she valued them. Since then however they don’t get to hang out as often but the two still have a very nice and pleasant view on the other.
Very PositiveSunny properly met Bad on the day 249, between teleporting to help her pa Tubbo with a Mob Farm. They quickly became friends, and she invited Bad to join her, Tubbo and Fit in building, telling her dad that she ‘met a new friend’. The four of them proceeded to spend some time together at Tubhaus and Lucky Ducks, where Bad was very sweet towards Sunny and helped her and Tubbo with completing their Lucky Ducks courses. She later employed him as her accountant (although he warned her that he couldn't promise to be a good one), giving him a crown to indicate his status as one of her royal staff.
While Sunny was feeling upset because of some of the other eggs being apprehensive around her despite her having done nothing wrong, Bad reassured her that it wasn't her fault and sometimes people need time to become friends. Bad is one of Sunny's close friends. So far, Bad is one of the only two people Sunny will wake up for other than Tubbo.
During QSMP Prison, Bad swore to take care of Sunny while Tubbo wasn't there. He was the one that took care of her the rest of the day alongside Dapper. Bad did hers and Dapper's egg tasks, making sure they'd be safe. she sat beside him and Dapper during the Group Therapy.
Very PositiveBagi and Sunny both first met each other in Favela with her Pa Tubbo and Empanada, they chatted awhile while Bagi gave the three a tour of the Favela, Bagi even attempting to give Sunny a plethora of coffee before their pa scooped them up and scolded the two. While Sunny isn’t often seen without their pa, they often hang out together in the mornings with the rest of the group and Bagi checks up on her periodically to see how she’s doing, Sunny being thankful Empanada has Bagi in her life.
When trying to get her pa back, Bagi was eager to help and a crucial part of the process, being the one to solve the puzzle, in which Sunny was incredibly thankful for, considering Bagi their favorite aunt.
Very PositiveShiny Man. Foolish is Sunny's pet and she was very happy to make his acquaintance but when he tried to introduce them to his daughter, Leonarda, Leo ran away and upset Sunny by doing so. Foolish tried to talk Leo into being civil with Sunny and when Leo had left he was transparent of her distrust for them. He was very conscious of Sunny's feelings and tried to make them feel better about the situation. Sunny has gotten quite attached to Foolish and despite Leonarda's caution around them, they are unwilling to give up Foolish as their pet.
Since the beginning of QSMP 2024, her and her pa, Tubbo, joined up and and based together with Foolish and Leo, forming Town of Fobo, since then their relationship with Foolish has greatly improved, Sunny even staying up and doing dungeons and missions with him after their pa fell asleep, joking around with each other in country accents.
PositiveThough initially wary of him, Etoiles was the first person besides their pa, Tubbo, that Sunny felt was and viewed as a friend, due to him paying her immediately for her friendship upon request. Although she dislikes how often Etoiles makes jokes about their pa, she still has a positive view on him.
Despite claiming he is her “bestie,” Sunny often excludes mentioning him when referencing people she trusts or feels they care about her, and does not view him as a member of her royal staff.
PositiveSunny first met Niki when she and Empanada asked if Tubbo and her wanted to go on an adventure. Upon meeting them initially, she was a bit apprehensive to the fact that Niki had no diamonds, having to begrudgingly be nice to them upon her father strongly suggesting her to do so, giving Niki pity diamonds.
NegativeAlthough she initially liked him because of his mansion and riches, ever since Pierre tried to convince Sunny to make her Pa Tubbo admit Pierre was the richest on the server she has taken a slight disliking to him. Her frustration with him grew when he refused to make her a statue after she saw the statue he made for Pomme. She is now suing him for defamation (for not building her a statue) and looking for "someone biased" towards her and her Pa to be the judge of the case.
Very NegativeWhen Sunny met Phil, he showed her his builds and Tallulah's area. Sunny in return showed him her Movable Castle. Later on while touring him around the factory, Phil got run over by a train four times and didn't take any damage. This inspired Sunny to want to be just like him when she grows up. However, Sunny has also shown a lot of nervousness around Phil, disliking how much he joked about her pa Tubbo’s abilities despite his admiration of Phil.
When her Pa had suffered an asthma attack and "left her," Phil used this as an opportunity [9] to make her see how Tallulah feels since her dad has been absent for months but he did this in an abrasive and harsh way. This made Sunny think Phil disliked her and that he was being very judgmental of her.
Sunny has been shown hiding from Phil a few times, and when he enters the room with them she’ll hide behind Tubbo. While she has became more comfortable with Phil after Tubbo getting kidnapped for Purgatory 2, they still avoid him if possible. Sunny has shown a lot of disliking for Phil, even after he calmed down his ruder remarks to her so it is likely an anxiety over Tallulah. Their relationship may become more neutral with time or if Tallulah gives her a chance to be friends.
On the first day of the prison Sunny was sadly alone, due to Tubbo her only active parent being asleep. In one of the prison activities Phil was asked, “Which egg would they kill?”, to avoid answering with any actual eggs, his responses were Tubbo and later Gegg when questioned again. While answering for both he insulted and made fun of both Sunny’s Pa and Pop in a joking manner that was not taken well by Sunny. Sunny was seen shuffling away from him stressed out and nervous, avoiding him as much as possible for the rest of the day.
Slightly before Tubbo’s revival, Sunny confessed to Ramon that Phil made her feel unwanted, and admitted that they think some people say they want her around more than they actually do. Once Tubbo was revived he offered to have her stay with Phil, but they swiftly rejected disturbed at the idea.
Very NegativeDespite her Pa Tubbo and Luzu initially getting along and joking about being family, Tubbo told Sunny to never let him know about her being her Pop Charlie’s egg, because Tilín was his and their Pop killed them, planning to do the same to her if he found out. Since then they’ve been unsure about him and have tiptoed around every interaction with him. On Day 324, while talking with Bad about the situation, Luzu overheard and started taunting and chasing Sunny around with a sword, fearing for their safety, they clung to any adult who would let them and wanted to have a sleepover with Empanada, as she had a fortified bedroom.
Eggs[]
Very PositivePomme is one of the eggs who showed Sunny kindness immediately, always greeting her excitedly. When Dapper was kidnapped, Pomme came over with Tubbo and upon finding out she hadn't got maxed out armour, Pomme gave Sunny her spare set of armour. Later, Pomme gave sunny a backpack equipped with everything she would need to survive Quesadilla Island. It contained gapples, potions, enderpearls, and other necessities to stay safe on the island along with a book in which Pomme told Sunny she would protect them and even called them her little sister[10]!
Very PositiveDapper was disliked by Sunny after he claimed she was too snobby, causing Sunny to complain that Dapper has a hat too big for his head. However, when talking to Bad, Sunny found out that Dapper has actually said he likes her and that his comment was from a place of friendly banter.
When they met a second time, they had a small argument before Sunny said “i like you,” giving Dapper diamonds. Dapper found out Foolish was Sunny's pet, to which Sunny responded with “you can have him on weekends.” The pair hung out for the rest of the night, playing games such as Musical Chairs and Lucky Ducks.
On QSMP Prison Day 1, Dapper and Sunny did the tasks together with BadBoyHalo, hanging out a lot that day, sitting together closely during Group Therapy. Their duo name is Rich Besties, referencing their wealth, as both Dapper and Sunny are well off.
PositiveWhen Leo and Sunny first met, Leo immediately ran away from Sunny which made her very upset. Sunny told her Pa Tubbo that she didn't want to "do this again" referring to how she had to try extremely hard for Tallulah to start to like her. She and Leo began a rivalry and started to try and one-up each other, particularly in terms of wealth. After some time apart, Foolish brought Leo over and Leo initiated a civil but very short conversation, at this point Sunny felt Leo's dislike was completely unjustified.
During QSMP Prison on the second day, Foolish wasn’t there yet, so Sunny and her pa continuously checked in on her and tried to invite her to sit with them, but Leo would always hit them away or be unresponsive.
However, after their dads became co-founders of Home of Fobo they've seem to start hanging out and even spent two hours making toast together when their dads went out. Recently, Leo placed her bed next to Sunny's after Sunny went to sleep after a bad day and although Leo didn't know this, Sunny felt it was a very kind gesture and has since considered Leo a friend.
NegativeWhile initially having a more positive view on him, as he was one of the eggs that welcomed her instead of shunning her, their relationship never grew in any meaningful way until Day 327 when Richas took their Pa Tubbo’s last life (unbeknownst to him) due to a bet. Since then and that fact and Richas’ seemingly nonchalantness, she has attacked him multiple times and makes comments about not caring for his life. Once Tubbo returned, they were briefly on neutral terms once they talked things out a bit, but after further actions Sunny simply didn’t like, it went back to negative, Sunny even telling their pa not to answer him.
Other - NPCs & Non-Islanders[]
NeutralCucurucho found her along with the other Eggs on Egg Island and saved them from both ElQuackity and the Purgatory Worker, who was throwing bombs at them, escaping from that island and taking them to Quesadilla Island. Despite this, she seems to take a very neutral stance on him, never referring to him by name and not even being clear on who saved her when asked.
NegativeAttempted killer once. A binary monster attacked Sunny when she and her Pa Tubbo were alone celebrating her birthday. She has since described it as a smelly thing, showing obvious distain towards it for trying to ruin her first birthday celebration.
Very NegativeSunny has been attacked by the Purgatory Workers numerous of times, even when it’s just her and her Pa Tubbo but always manages to warp away before they can ever touch her. She claims she’s too cool to be killed by them, which is most likely a front.
On Day 293, Sunny wasn’t awake but Empanada had lost her first life to the workers, and since then she has become very protective of her because of this.
