The Cargo Ship struck the Quesadilla Island on April 30, 2023, and brought with it five new residents: Cellbit, Felps, Forever, and the TazerCraft duo, Pac & Mike.

Description[]

The Cargo Ship is an vessel, distinguished by its large gray and white structure, designed to transport numerous containers. Adorning its bow is a Brazilian flag proudly displayed on a white pole, and its deck is constructed with birchwood. A prominent feature near its amidships is a white tower, which houses a long rectangular room on its upper level.

Venturing into the ship's interior reveals a bustling scene of copper pipes, crates, barrels, and mysterious magma blocks, which could be indicative of molten metal resulting from the vessel's crash and the lightning strikes it endured. A vital ladder connects the interior to the aforementioned room atop the tower, providing access to both areas.

The rectangular room situated at the tower's peak is crafted from andesite and is divided into two sections by a glass wall with a securely locked metal door. On one side, players discover a ladder leading to the ship's interior, along with various pieces of furniture like a miniature globe, a bookshelf, a desk, a cartography table, a printer, and even a microwave. The other side features a poster that translates specific flags into letters and includes some flags that serve as buttons.

Red Flags - Puzzle[]

A challenging puzzle presented itself when the door connecting the two sides of the room remained locked. However, keen observation revealed a sequence of letters hidden from view on the side of the room leading to the ship's interior. These letters formed the code "K X U T," which served as the password to unlock the door.

To proceed, new players had to convey the letters to the original occupants. They, in turn, needed to decipher which flag corresponded to each letter using the informative poster and press the correct sequence of "flag-buttons."

Once the correct sequence was entered, the door would open, allowing both groups to reunite and greet each other warmly.

The Acquisition of the Ship[]

On Dat 43 (May 3), Cellbit shared with Maximus the hazy details of how they ended up on the boat. While he couldn't recall all the specifics, it was said that Felps allegedly purchased the ship for an incredibly low price. From there, the group embarked on a journey to an unknown destination, with Felps at the helm. Unfortunately, the voyage took a turn for the worse, resulting in the ship spiraling out of control and ultimately crashing into the side of Quesadilla Island, leaving them stranded.

On Day 77 (June 6), they made a significant discovery – the ship's blackbox. It was found submerged underwater in a chest beneath the vessel. Analysis by SOFIA revealed crucial information from the blackbox, indicating that the ship had set sail from Australia, destined for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, a deviation from its course occurred at 23 degrees south, leading to the loss of control as it approached the island. Regrettably, no audio message was recovered, and the navigation system data was corrupted.

By Day 109 (July 14), Cellbit admitted to Jaiden, Badboyhalo, and Foolish that he and the other Brazilians could not recall what happened before they woke up on the boat and subsequently crashed onto the island, which potentially contradicted the earlier notion that Felps had bought and navigated the ship.

Trivia[]

  • While trying to escape the sinking boat, the new members joked that Felps was the one driving the ship and that was why it crashed. (This has possibly been retconned)
  • In the International Code of Signals, used in maritime navigation, the letters "K X U T" mean, respectively: "I want to communicate with you," "Stop carrying out your intentions and watch for my signals," "You are running into danger," and "Keep clear of me."
