The Welcome Carre! was an event held on September 24, 2023 that introduced Carre as the new member of the QSMP.[1]
Background[]
Upon rousing from slumber in an unfamiliar, dimly illuminated chamber, Carre stumbled upon a chest containing a peculiar assortment of items. As he rummaged through the chest's contents, he discovered an energy drink, some pizza, a flashlight, and a tome. Within the book's pages, he came across a mention of the room's darkness along with instructions on how to operate the flashlight.
When he activated the flashlight, the room unveiled itself, revealing an expansive space with a colossal tree at its center. Descending a set of stairs led him to another room, bathed in light, housing a conspicuous wheel and yet another chest. Inside this chest, he found a book. Carre followed the book's guidance, spinning the wheel, which ultimately landed on the number VII (7). Suddenly, the floor beneath him gave way, plunging him into chilly waters below as rain poured down. He swiftly swam to a beacon, discovering another chest that contained a bubble blower and yet another book, which remarked on the peculiar weather.
Surveying his surroundings, he strained to discern his next destination, his view obstructed by towering obsidian pillars and the encircling mountain. However, in the distance, he discerned the next beacon.
At this beacon, he uncovered a lengthy frozen corridor harboring yet another chest. Within it lay a skateboard with a message proclaiming, "You are going to need it! Have fun."
Carre promptly placed the skateboard on the slippery, ice-covered floor but grappled with maintaining control as he navigated a makeshift skate track leading from the tunnel.
Upon reaching the end of the track, a dimly lit chamber beckoned him inside. He illuminated his trusty flashlight and ventured forth, discovering a ticket bearing his name, extending a warm welcome to Quesadilla Island.
History[]
The day began with Carre awakening in the confines of the Ice Prison. While he was within his cell, a message directed him to follow a crimson beacon. He roamed the passageways in search of this signal but instead encountered Firusflais, a dog. After a brief exchange with the canine, who conveyed his disorientation, Carre was guided by the loyal pup to a lengthy corridor adorned with Lucky Blocks. Upon smashing these blocks, he collected a substantial number of vouchers, comedic books, and enough materials to craft a code-breaking device.
Following a string of futile attempts to employ the code breaker on a secured door, Firusflais decided to take matters into his own paws, forcefully breaching the door and revealing an open space with a kitchen. Here, Carre was tasked with preparing dog food for Firusflais, with assistance from the canine and perhaps a touch of divine intervention. This successful feeding led to Firusflais tearing down a wall, unveiling a small bridge overlooking a challenging lava parkour course and an assortment of fellow island residents.
Perplexed by the unfolding events, Carre retreated to a corner, attempting to make sense of the situation, the numerous new acquaintances, and the reunion with some old friends. A portal suddenly materialized, transporting them to the Federation Arena entrance, where a welcome party seemed to have been organized.
Having previously received a tour ticket for the island, Carre explored the surroundings, acquainting himself with various residents and endeavoring to find the individual responsible for redeeming his ticket. This mingling evolved into an impromptu invasion of the presidential office, doubling as an "After Party."
Amid the commotion, Carre was able to inquire with Quackity about the tour, and Quackity volunteered to serve as his guide. The two of them traversed the island, admiring the creations of other players. Upon reaching the Favelas, Carre encountered the President, with whom he engaged in a spirited exchange, as mentioned in the tour ticket.
As they lingered in the Favelas, a meeting of the Ordo Theoritas had just concluded, leading several members to approach Carre, inquiring whether he had come across any pertinent books or information during his earlier escapades. Carre shared some of the humor books, complete with his personal embellishments. After some friendly conversation, he spent time with some Brazilian residents before exchanging playful banter with Forever.
Carre believed he had provoked Forever, prompting him to apologize, but Forever confessed that it had all been in jest and, in an attempt to play a prank on Carre, inadvertently detonated an explosion. Forever then reunited with Carre, expressing regret for the mishap, and extended an invitation for Carre to join them at Las Casualonas Nightclub. Excited to accompany his newfound friends to a nightclub, Carre accepted. After Forever's dance on the pole, Carre playfully threatened the President with photographic evidence of his dance moves in exchange for presidential favors.
Following this enjoyable interaction, Carre and Forever joined Quackity, who revealed that he had staked a claim on a plot to construct his new residence. However, upon arriving at the location, a Dark Matter Structure had manifested in the area earmarked for Quackity's new home. They opted to explore the structure, leading to a skirmish against a horde of monsters. Forever equipped Carre with some iron gear, and together, they emerged victorious. Subsequently, the trio concealed themselves within one of the structure's spheres, with Carre humorously dubbing it his "Airbnb."
As other individuals approached to investigate the structure, Quackity, Forever, and later Roier assisted Carre in trespassing into houses and structures, hoping to find a new place to settle and seizing various items along the way, including Aypierre's turtle.
Roier then encouraged Carre to visit the Favelas, where the two of them crossed paths with Cellbit. In this encounter, Carre was able to provide a clearer account of his experiences before arriving on the island, embellishing the story for added engagement and entertainment. He also displayed the ticket he had obtained to meet Melissa at Casualonas, surprising both Cellbit and Roier, who cautioned him about potential competition from Bagi's interest in her.
Unfazed by the competition, Carre jokingly threatened them with a hypothetical scenario in which he failed to win Melissa's favor. Nevertheless, he remained eager to potentially meet her, as he had developed a fondness for her after discovering one of her magazines. Inspired by what the Brazilian residents had achieved with the Favelas, he departed with Roier on a mission to establish "Argentina," choosing a mountain near Vegetta's Tower as their settlement location.
