Wilbur Soot was a British member of the QSMP, who was announced on March 21, 2023 and joined for the first time on March 22, 2023.[2]
He was portrayed by the content creator of the same name.
He was officially removed from the project on March 4th, 2024.[3]
Physiology
Wilbur Soot was a human with brown hair and a fair complexion. His most notable physical characteristics included dotted eyes, wearing a yellow sweater, black pants, and dark grey shoes. Additionally, Wilbur adorned a purple ribbon on the right side of his sweater symbolizing support and awareness for cancer, particularly in memory of Technoblade.
Personality
Wilbur was a cheerful, gentle and positive person, who could also be fierce and stand his ground firmly and confidently if the situation calls for it. One of his core beliefs was that most problems can be solved with love and that there needed to be more of it in the cruel world they lived in. He taught that same mindset to Tallulah, hoping to raise her to be a kind and compassionate girl. Wilbur also caress deeply about those he considered family and was, even with his distaste towards violence and fighting, willing to "pick up the sword" if it meant he could protect his loved ones.
Even though Wilbur tried to see the best in people, he was not naïve. He was quite realistic about others, even if he liked them, which is shown through him openly displaying his distrust in Quackity’s ability to take care of Tallulah. Still, he genuinely believed Quackity to be a good person at heart, his distrust having been rooted in Quackity’s unstable state of mind and not him as a person. Believing that all that Quackity needed was simply for someone to show him love, Wilbur taught Tallulah to be as kind to him as possible and show him that they care in order to help him heal and get better.
Even if Wilbur seemed to be quite mature most of the time, being able to observe situations keenly from the sides and suggest possible solutions to arising problems, he also had his little moments of being somewhat immature and childish, acting energetic and cracking silly jokes. This side of him most often seemed to come out around Phil and Chayanne, his father and brother. He shared a lighthearted brotherly rivalry with Chayanne, being rather petty and competitive with him, although he still clearly loved him and saw him as his family.

Very PositivePhil is Wilbur’s father figure, though he mostly just referred to Phil as his father, and by extension, Tallulah’s grandfather. They have discussed that as soon as they saw each other on the train, they had immediately felt a father-son connection and have run with that ever since. Wilbur trusted Phil immensely, having full faith in his ability to take care of Tallulah when Wilbur wasn't able to himself. Because of that, he decided that while away on tour, Phil would be her main caretaker.
When Wilbur was in the Labyrinth, Phil had to lasso him and drag him along like a toddler on a leash to make him keep up with the group. During this time, Phil told Wilbur that the eggs were missing. Due to this, a verbal fight broke out between the two, as Wilbur wanted to know why they were following the seemingly irrelevant lead of the maze, laughing and having fun with each other instead of looking for the eggs. Phil quickly became angry at Wilbur for implying that they weren't doing enough to find the eggs even though they had done everything they could. Wilbur then left and decided to give Phil some time to cool off before seeing him and apologising for accusing Phil of not doing enough. Phil came over to Wilbur and they both apologised to each other for how they had responded to each other, they then spent the rest of the day together.
Family Very PositiveOn day 34, Wilbur told the story of [MCC4]. This story showed Wilbur's immense respect for Technoblade, saying that they wouldn't have won the tournament without Techno's skill. Wilbur described Techno as a "master of his domain. A destroyer of men, women and their now orphaned children". The purple ribbon Wilbur wears on his yellow jumper is in memory of Techno.
Family Very PositiveThe person who mattered most to Wilbur was his little bundle of sunshine, his whole universe, Tallulah. Being able to talk about her for hours on end and cheering for even the littlest of her achievements, he was a very proud father of his "pequeño huevo". But that was not always the case, as he was apprehensive of taking her in when they first met. He was convinced that he was unfit to care for a child, and felt that he was not able to give her the life she deserved. Against his better judgement, though, Tallulah had taught him that he was capable of being a father, to nurture and to love. Still, he seems to be quite insecure in his role as Tallulah's parent, voicing his concerns of not being good enough to Phil and others he trusted frequently. Mostly, he was self-conscious about being perceived as an absent parent, a common stereotype about musicians, and tried his best to prove himself otherwise.
Once Wilbur did accept the role as Tallulah's father, they became close rather quickly. Wilbur became quite protective over Tallulah, fully ready to put himself into harm's way to protect her, even though he wasn't particularly fond of combat. As a self-described "writer, not a fighter", recognized that he was no good at defending himself against monsters, but if Tallulah were to be in danger, he made himself clear that he would rather hurt himself trying than to let Tallulah fend for herself. Still, he constantly made sure that Tallulah had enough room to make her own choices under his guidance instead of following Wilbur's wishes at all times, and stressed that he would support her, if she decided she wanted to learn to protect herself.

PositiveWhenever Chayanne and Wilbur were together, chaos ensued in form of playful, petty competitiveness, which often lead to arguments about who their father, Philza, loved more. Though, even through their brotherly rivalry, they cared about each other a lot. Wilbur also greatly appreciated Chayanne's protectiveness of Tallulah and trusted him to defend her from any harm. Wilbur told Phil that Chayanne reminded him of Technoblade after seeing Chayanne's potato farm.
Islanders
Very PositiveCharlie and Wilbur arrived on Quesadilla Island together with Jaiden Animations and were close friends. After returning from his week-long break on day 28, Wilbur referred to Charlie as his oldest and closest friend. He also said that, if need be, he would defend Charlie with his life. After returning on day 208, he believed Charlie had gone a little crazy after hearing that he had seen his dead daughter but despite this he and Charlie remained good friends.
Very PositiveWilbur befriended Roier very early on, going on a quest to get him a taco in exchange for him joining La Villa de Sacapuntas and exchanging messages with a jokingly romantic tone with each other. They reunited while Wilbur was with Tallulah, again quite friendly. Wilbur then found out that Bobby burnt down Tallulah's tree, and sent an angry and threatening letter to Roier in person. He ran off after, most likely scared.
When Wilbur returned from his second tour on day 208 he was very happy when Roier came over to see him and was very excited to talk with him.
Very PositiveWilbur was very happy to see Niki when he came back on Day 208. He immediately went over to her when he saw she had joined the group around him and went with her to see the castle she was currently building and commented on how it was a good representation of her.
PositiveBad was one of the few people who Wilbur trusted with Tallulah's care, and he babysits her often on Wilbur's and Philza's behalf. Despite not interacting much, they were on friendly terms and enjoyed teasing each other.
On his first day back after months and upon seeing Bad, Wilbur proceeded to kiss him, as he said he could 'kiss you hard on the lips' months prior to the kiss.
PositiveWilbur and Jaiden arrived on Quesadilla Island together with Slimecicle and the three were close friends. Jaiden and Wilbur founded La Villa de Sacapuntas together and lived there until it was destroyed. After his 28 day break, Wilbur told his daughter, Tallulah, that Jaiden was a lovely person and he hoped that Tallulah could meet her one day.
PositiveOn Day 1, Wilbur, Dan, and Luzu gathered resources together. Dan helped Wilbur spread Slimecicle’s “I’m gooping I’m gunking” phrase to Luzu, saying that it was an England thing. Dan made Wilbur very happy when he gave him permission to swear. They got along really well, but Day 1 was the only time they ever interacted on the QSMP.
PositiveQuackity and Wilbur had extreme amounts of tension in their relationship, as Quackity suspected Wilbur to be Tilin's other parent. Quackity blamed Wilbur for her death, though it's heavily indicated that the majority of it is a projecting. Despite their rocky reunion after Wilbur returns from his first tour, they agreed on finding Tilin's killer (Slimecicle) and bringing him to justice.
Wilbur distrusted Quackity's ability to take care of Tallulah even though believed Quackity to be a good person at heart, his distrust having been rooted in Quackity’s unstable state of mind and not him as a person. Believing that all that Quackity needed was simply for someone to show him love, Wilbur taught Tallulah to be as kind to him as possible and show him that they care in order to help him heal and get better however he has acted on his distrust by telling Philza not to let Quackity take care of Tallulah while he was away.
Tallulah asked Wilbur before bed one night if he had feelings for Quackity, in which Wilbur hesitated before saying "These are big girl questions, I don't think we need- we don't need to figure that one out just yet, do we?" The use of 'we' when telling Tallulah that they didn't need to figure it out just yet could potentially mean that he himself doesn't quite know how he feels about Quackity either, and he would rather not confront his feelings for him.
When he was told that Quackity had married him after his return from his second tour, Wilbur rejected this and told them that he didn't feel married. He displayed friendliness towards Quackity but made it clear that they are not married.
As an unrelated note Wilbur got visibly concerned for Quackity as soon as the latter introduced himself to him saying nice to meet you making Wilbur confused and leading him to ask if this was really Quackity, showing once more how much he cared for him like everyone else regardless.
As well putting a Quackity photo on the chest with tallulah things because tallulah liked Quackity.
PositiveWhen Pac and Wilbur met for the first time, Pac was very excited to talk with him and taught him some words in Portuguese. Pac was the first Brazilian islander Wilbur ever met and they got along well with each other. After meeting Pac, Wilbur described him as cute.
Neutral/PositiveOn day 208 Cellbit and Wilbur met for the first time, Cellbit tried to comfort Wilbur after the disappearance of the eggs. He reassured Wilbur that they were doing the best they could to find the eggs and that he could trust them. He also explained about what the Federation and the Resistance were to him. Wilbur was a little bit distrustful towards Cellbit because he is working for the federation, but after seeing that he really cares about finding the eggs, showing Wilbur a lot of compassion and being close friend to Philza, he warmed up to Cellbit a little.
Neutral/PositiveWilbur and Fit were shown to be friendly and trusting of each other. Fit is shown to trust Wilbur and encourages him to trust himself and adopt Tallulah. When Wilbur needed a place to stay, Fit was reluctant but considered letting Wilbur stay in Spreen's house, but ultimately Wilbur does not. However, when Quackity believes that Tallulah is a child of an affair Wilbur had and wants to take her away, Fit sides with Quackity. Fit defends himself by saying that musicians are often absent in their children's lives, though later it's revealed that his true intent was to ally himself with Quackity. After the conflict was resolved, Fit and Wilbur are left on neutral, somewhat positive terms.
Neutral/PositiveWilbur met Baghera during his return to the island on day 208. They met in Slimecicle's area where Wilbur learned about JuanaFlippa's comeback and that Baghera also has an egg named Pomme. They had fun telling jokes accompanied by Philza and Slime and catching up about the past events on Quesadilla Island.
Neutral/NegativeWilbur and Spreen had had some interesting interactions, notable ones such as making a song about Argentina with the help of Slimecicle. Wilbur and Spreen had a sort of tense relationship after Spreen notably attacked Wilbur's nation La Villa de Sacapuntas

In the beginning, Wilbur seemed to think that Gegg was strange, and ended up trying to send him off in multiple ways. However, after getting rid of Gegg, he was a bit concerned for his safety. Later on though, Wilbur began to grow a distaste for the egg, stating that Gegg was stinky and he wanted to turn him into a "Gugget."

Character
- He works as a traveling musician and at a canning facility. He left Quesadilla Island to go touring with the band he is in, Lovejoy.
- He does not like technology and often opts for things he already knows (an old box-TV, for example), instead of trying out more modern devices and tools.
- He is terrified of Tallulah's pet gorilla, Panchito.
- Wilbur does not like wearing helmets, as they tend to ruin his hair.
- He believes that Tallulah is a big Usher fan.
- Wilbur has been confronted about romantic feelings for Quackity multiple times by multiple people.[4]
- Wilbur has been struggling with an addiction to Minecraft and cocaine but has started rehab at the Psicologoier Office.
- He also seems to be struggling with alcohol abuse, since, as stated by himself, the only way he used to be able to fall asleep was by getting drunk to the point of passing out.
- Cellbit was known to theorise about Wilbur’s existence and believed full-heartedly that he was fake, whether he be a lie to make Tallulah feel better, or a figment of Quackity’s imagination. At Tallulah’s request though, he planned to not mention his beliefs in public, or at least in her presence. Baghera has also indulged in those theories in the past.
- Since Cellbit used the argument of Hatsune Miku making music too and frequently compared Lovejoy to her, it has become a joke to refer to Wilbur as Hatsune Miku, that is carried on even after his return on October 16th.
